Now in a big girl bed!

Last night we hit another milestone, our gorgeous little girl Lily, had her first night in a big girl toddler bed. For a little while, we have had the mattress on the ground to get her use to being out of her cot and she loved that! So yesterday, we bought her toddler bed, which was meant to be for Christmas, but she spotted the box (couldn’t even see the picture of the bed!) and excitedly started yelling “Bed!” so we decided to set it up. The whole time my partner was setting it up, she kept saying “Lucky me! Cool! Pretty! Bed!”, it was seriously the cutest thing. She also kept trying to help Daddy set it up. Just wanted to share this will you all =)

    I have a friend who’s daughter just turned one and practically demanded her Mum take down the side of her cot to make it a toddler bed hahaha. My daughter is LOVING her bed, so glad!

    Aww did you get the Dora curtain ends from Spotlight? I saw them the other day! Yeah maybe if we mix a few different themes together it will turn out well haha

    yeah we did a little but its cute and she loves it 😀

    I seriously dont see isaac getting out of his cot until he is about 15…he loves it so much. Our second bub is due when he will be 2 1/4 so we will prob keep the bub in a bassinette for the first 3 months until isaac is about 2 1/2 then let him choose a bed so hopefully he will be excited to move out. But right now he is all over the place – he is never where i left him in bed so cant imagine how he’d go in a big boy bed. I also dont trust him not to get out and run around the house!

    We are planning on putting the new bub straight into his room with him so it might be good to have him lock up in jail (cot) sp that he cant get to the new baby!

    We want to do up her room all girlie and pretty, we were going to do Dora but in a few months she’ll probably tell us what she wants anyway haha. Thinking just keeping it simple like “Lollyland” or butterflies or something haha

    Our daughters room is all butterflies, flowers and dora!!! she loves it ….One day after we had been doing up all the walls we let her in there and she went nuts!!! she loves her new room!!! and even the new curtain rods have dora on them!! and we got these super cute blockout curtains!! great for kids ….cos of nap time!!

    haha my little miss is in her big girl bed too…. as we speak… just moved into it a lil after she turned two!….and she got her big girl room too… not in the baby room anymore!
