I started bub on farex at 4 months and pureed fresh vegetable like pumpkin. He went off the plain farex pretty quickly so I always put different mixed fruits with it now and he has it every morning for breaky.

that`s great melmeko. I am just getting into giving my baby solids, well actually I started him about 4 weeks ago at 21weeks. he`s now nearly 5.5months but he doesnt` really like the farax now. he did originally but i can still only get it into him once a day at best and i don`t add anything yet. not until he`s 6 months. it does help him sleep better in the day when he has it but mostly now he just gags on it. I was thinking of adding apple puree sooner to see if he likes that but i`m not sure. It is a big thing, I plan to make as much at home as possible and hope not to have a fussy eater too. I`ve told his daddy that he has to eat everything to encourage bub without pulling faces. we`ll see how that works out.

My bub only eats homemade, the only stuff I can get him to eat in a can/jar is the fruit. He won`t even eat the custards. He is 9 months now and is really more interested in eating whatever we eat, which is good coz I just chop up finely a serve for him of our meals. For breaky he usually has farax with tin/can fruit and for lunch it is mainly yougart with banana or other fresh fruit. When I don`t feel like cooking he is happy to have the Simpson`s range of cup a soups with bread or tin spaghetti even noodles and he loves chips made out of sweet potato that I bake in the oven. Another good finger food he likes is french toast with no sugar though. And eggs but I am not sure if they are ment to eat eggs at his age or not but if it keeps him happy then I am happy, Ha Ha. Sorry to babble but this was a big thing for me and I am just glad he`s not a fussy eater.
