Christmas with kiddies!

So, anyone else sitting here wondering where 2011 has gone? This year has felt like the quickest year in history!
Here we are, 6 days before Christmas! I think I am most excited about seeing my little girl’s face in the morning when she opens all her presents and seeing all our family. Although it will be a very long and tiring day, it’s all in good fun.

What Christmas activities have you done with your children? Have you taken them to see the Christmas carols? I was a little bummed because I didn’t check the event calender on our council’s website early enough to know when the carols were on so we have missed most of them =( next year for sure though.

We did out Christmas food shopping last night and made sure we had some Santa hats to wear on the day in the shopping cart hehe. I made Malibu Balls today too!

To get us in the mood for Christmas, we get the kids photo taken with Santa, go watch the local carols and fireworks display and on Christmas Eve we will go to church. I think I will also walk around our streets with the kids and look at the lovely lights. I love Christmas!

My girls had a photo with Santa 😉 except the photo shows my four year trying to pull santas beard off yelling “mummy, santas beard isnt real” oh my gosh the humiliation hahahaha. Taking them to the local country christmas carols this friday night as well as our local nativity play.

Hahaha oh no! I am just waiting for the day my daughter does that haha.

We had a very lovely surprise last night, my partner knew I wanted to see some Christmas lights so he planned it and took us to see a whole street full of them last night, it was so lovely! Our daughter was so excited!

Aww that’s a shame you missed it. There are some carols on this week but Jesse has to work every night up until Christmas so we won’t be able to get to them, I wouldn’t want to go without him anyway.
