Unfortunately I have to cull most of that list:

Amelia (or Emilia) – culled – one in mothers group
    Ella- good
Elizabeth – culled – my aunts name
Morgan – culled – was on my list of boys names when i had isaac and hubby doesnt like any gender neutral names – ie names that could go either way – hes quite traditional like that
Hayley – I like…this is actually on my list…but i went to highschool with a hayley so thats holding me back a bit
    Raina (or Raine) – good
Emily – culled – my sisters name
Sienna – culled – one in mothers group
Savannah – dont mind but know hubby wont like
Samantha – culled – cousins kids name
    Ciara – maybe
    Sophia – like
    Ally (or Ellie) – like
Lilly – LOVE but i worry its too common (Im a sarah and whilst i love my name, hated that it was so common – there were 8 in my grade at highschool)

I actually really like kayla! Might steal that one!! Our surname begins with ‘k’ and where i didnt like alliteration in boys names, i quite like it in girls names.

maaaaaaaaaaan naming kids is tough!! Way harder than naming pets!! Actually i named my hubbys familys dog Axel then when we were trying to name isaac i wished i could have used that name but it would have been wrong naming our son after our dog, no matter how cool the dog is!!

We had actually agreed on Lachlan for isaac but he was 10 days overdue and it was in that last week that i went off that name for some reason. Then I had to have an emergency caesar and was all drugged out when hubby was trying to discuss names and i honestly didnt care what we called him. Hubby kept asking what i preferred and i kept saying i dont care, whatever so he was like i guess its isaac then. we then rang messaged everyone to tell them his name but that night i kept calling him lachlan and was like oh no have we made the right decision but then the name started to stick! We didnt realise it at the time but the name isaac means laughing one and son of sarah and he has ended up being the happiest little kid so it was the right name for him…now we just have to find the right name for his sister!!

haha ahhh c-section hey! …u having another one for this one??? I have a very close friend named Kaylah and she is lovely so it is a good name in my opinion!

Have u got a backup name incase it turns out to be a boy tho.
How far along r u atm again?? sorry if u mentioned already.

this time around i get to choose whether to have a caesar or VBAC and I am finding it the hardest decision in the world to make. Each appointment theyy ask if i have decided and i keep saying no. My deadline is 36 weeks (I’m 30 weeks now), but she is breech so she might make the decision for me. If I have a caesar then it will be really tough looking after isaac but i am terrified of my scar rupturing. She was breech at 27 weeks when i had a scan then this week when i had my check up they thought she might have turned until they went to measure her heartbeat – they couldnt find it when they tried down low, which is where it would be if she was head down then when they tried near the top they found it straight away. She still felt breech to me as i feel all the kicks really low

At the 20w scan they said that they thought it was a girl then at 27 weeks i had to have a growth scan and they confirmed that it was a girl – you could actually see a lot of detail down there by 27 weeks so there isnt really any doubt. But if it is a he doing the worlds most realistic mangina then his name will be hamish!

Oh ok… destined to most prob have a c-section then i guess.

baby names are so hard.. we had a huge list for our first one (a girl) and couldn’t agree on anything until she was born, then we looked at her and said yeah you’re a ___. Now we’re having twin boys and we picked one name (plus a middle) but can’t agree on the second name. The little girl actually had some really good suggestions and they’re all on the list but it’s so hard to agree on it because they already have different personalities and it just doesn’t feel right…

For Isaac I was certain we were having a girl so had already named her isabella – it went so well with our surname, this time around, as the pregnancies felt the same i was sure i was having a boy and had already named him Hamish…but of course its a girl and now we cant use isabella as we cant have 2 izzies in the family and i dont like any other girl name!! So, since I cant use it, I am giving you the name Hamish to use on your other twin (assuming the first one isnt already called hamish!!)…but in exchange you have to give me a girls name!!!

Haha thanks for that! 🙂 I have a few names for girls that I really like, they’re fairly traditional but I don’t think you can go wrong with them:

    Amelia (or Emilia)
    Ella
    Elizabeth
    Morgan
    Hayley
    Raina (or Raine)
    Emily
    Sienna
    Savannah
    Samantha
    Ciara
    Sophia
    Ally (or Ellie)
    Lilly

it’s all I can think of so far.. It’s the names we had on our list first time. We ended up naming our girl Kayla which was pretty surprising but we just looked at her when she was born and it fit.

Briar Rose …I love this name because Briar Roses are strong and beautiful.

make sure you look at the Initals and what they might spell or stand for as sometimes thats not worked out until its too late.

Vicki Davis wil get hell at school for VD
Stacey Tina Donaldson…= Sexually Transmitted Disease
That sort of thing is something to watch…lol

Have you asked Charlotte who she thinks that babys name should be? Sometimes little ones come up with some amazingly wonderful names…although sometimes they might say something like “Snoopy”….lol

    VD… oh dear!

I knew a gril at school whose nickname was Dino, and I never knew why unitil a friend told me that her real name is Dinah, and her surname, Saw. I kid you not.

Shull, I like Noelle. It reminds me of my niece, Joelle.
