I was excited to be chosen to review these tablets and pleased that Natures Way provided enough for me to trial for a couple of months so I could truly ascertain if they were going to be beneficial
Glowy and beautiful!
A great and affordable sunscreen which has a glowy colour in it.
Such a beautiful foundation
This foundation is the best of the best. I dragged my feet in getting to try it because sometimes products aren't always as great as people rave that they are. This product genuinely is.

What's annoying me right now? Procrastination. I can't seem to get my work done. And my oily face can't find the perfect product for my face.
Annoyed with myself, went for a long walk the other day and left home later than I usually do around 9.10 and got home about 10.40, it wasn't too hot but very windy. Wore a singlet top and shorts and had a visor on luckily. A few hours later noticed I was really badly burnt on my chest, shoulders and upper back, think it was wind burn. Haven't been so burnt in a long time. Now using lots of aloe vera and staying out of the sun.
Ouch! At least you remembered your visor.
What a bummer Hayley, I hope that you don't peel! Keep the moisture up and good luck.
The aloe vera seems to be helping and I've gone brown for the time being, hope I don't peel.
My husband forgot to take our wheelie bin out, I did'nt bother asking if he had done it because I apparently nag too much. Plus he was watering the front yard and all our neighbours had their bins out. So now our bin is full and we have nowhere to put our rubbish. I chucked prawn shells and all kinds of things in the bin because I thought it would be emptied in a day, now I'm just waiting to see maggots crawling out......
Eeeewwwwwwwww that’s going to really stink by next week!
Give the council a call and tell them your bin was accidentally missed. They might come and collect it. We did that once and they did.
Oh nooo Lisa! It's so hot this time of the year and it doesn't take long for it to smell!
My complaint is only a tiny annoyance....painted my finger nails last night. The usual, base, two lots of colour and then the top coat. My CND Top Coat was thick but I thought it would be ok and smooth out but nah it didn't. So today I starting from scratch.......grrr!
Pheww that's gonna stink Lisa! At least yours went in the bin. One of the lovely people in the next street over from me decided that because their bin was full it would be a good idea to through their mussel shells down the storm water drain. My god, the stench! I could smell it way before I got to it when walking my dogs and way after. I bet that great idea is going to haunt them and their neighbours for a while.
My gripe......my nieces. They are 5 and 7. OMG they are brats. The younger one isn’t too bad, but the eldest is a shocker. I honestly hate to think what she will be like when she gets to teenage years. My brother is one of these parents who had kids later in life, thinks he knows everything and believes that children should be allowed to express themselves. Miss 7 can be quite nasty to Miss 5 sometimes, but they don’t seem to do much about it. I just keep telling myself that it’s not my business and not my problem. I don’t particularly enjoy their company so I try to avoid them where possible.
Parents of young children, can you please tell me, am I being unreasonable......whenever we have dinner at my parents, the kids are allowed to watch a YouTube video on a phone at the table, usually turned up very loud. And of course they both watch something different. We were sitting around the table for Christmas dinner and one had mums phone and the other had dads phone. The noise was unbearable. Yes, I am very sensitive to noise, but get real! I think this is rude. There’s no way I’d allow my child to do this. Maybe I’d be a bit more relaxed about it at home, but absolutely and definitely not sitting around the table for Christmas Dinner. Am I being an old fuddy duddy?
I’ve also posted this in the ‘chatting’ thread.
I think it is very rude. I've seen kids doing the same thing in restaurants, I think some parents just want to keep their kids occupied,.
Obviously they prefer the noise of a phone or tablet to the sounds of their kids whingeing or fighting. They should be teaching their children good manners, It will be very interesting indeed to see what they are like as teenagers.
Rose I have a 7 yo so am speaking from experience lol. Phones at the dinner table/Christmas dinner is not acceptable in my house. You sit, you have a conversation, you use your manners, you ask politely to leave the table once everyone has finished eating so the adults can talk. You’re not being a fuddy duddy at all.
Lisa I have and do let my child use a phone to watch a show in a restaurant (dependant on the restaurant) and will continue to do so. He has ADHD and other sensory issues and that’s what keeps him from having a complete meltdown sometimes. Please don’t judge a parent that lets them use them in cafes/restaurants, you honestly don’t know what their day has been like, especially when their kid looks ‘normal’.
In a restaurant......as long as it’s not loud enough to bother other people. Perhaps consider using earphones. I fully understand where you are coming from anne, as my cousin has an autistic child who is also prone to meltdowns. But we were in a restaurant recently and a child at a nearby table was watching something and the volume was so loud that we considered asking the waitress to ask them to turn it down. We could hardly hear ourselves speak. That’s really inconsiderate and rude in my humble opinion.
We bring the iPad so our kids DONT disturb others diners.
To elaborate further Rose We would not allow any of our children to use the devices at a family dinner like Christmas but when it comes to being in a restaurant where there is no entertainment we let our 3 year old use the iPad or iPhone. It stops him from being disruptive and means we aren’t having to tell him off repeatedly in a restaurant.
We did notice while we were out at dinner the other night there was a family of 4 at another table and the ?16 ?17 year old boy was constantly on the phone not even putting it down while he was eating.
Now that is rude.
As for my nieces, I’ve come to the conclusion that they are allowed to do whatever they like. Just come to my parents house for dinner and see for yourself. And nobody is allowed to tell them to stop doing anything in particular, because they are ‘expressing themselves’. I just have to keep reminding myself that it’s not my problem.
Hopefully they turn out okay otherwise you can always say I told you so!
All we can do as parents is to instil and teach them to be the best person they can be.
Coles and Woolies latest catalogues advertising Hot Cross Buns, barely recovered from Christmas, definately not thinking about Easter...
The hot cross buns from Coles were available throughout last year. I ordered them a few times because I like their taste. I've seen Woolworths online sell fruit buns (probably the same thing but without the cross on the top), but they've always been out of stock when I've tried to order them.
Our Coles has had Hot Cross buns for ages. Crazy hey!
Time for another rant about my idiot neighbours....these are the ones who built a freakin' granny flat right along our fence line years ago & tried to pass it off as something else, before we reported them to council & it got pulled down.
So....the WOTH (Woman of the House) posted something on a community Facebook page/group saying that they had mail for someone with my mother's name & that if we didn't come & collect it by the end of the day (or a certain time), she was going to return it to the post office. I'm not a part of this page/group, however, a work colleague of my parents is & stumbled across it, leading to my Dad calling me to go & deal with it, which I have.
So why am I annoyed? Well....
(a) the WOTH knows damn well who we are (she knows my parents first names, I'm sure of that), despite having very little contact with her & her family these days (her husband is/was a major Gladys Kravitz & if he happened to be outside at the same time we were, he'd be all up in our business...hence why we cut the cord)
(b) if we end up with mail of theirs (which does happen from time to time, since Australia Post can't sort things properly to save their life), I simply go & put it in their letterbox, no Facebook-related threats needed
(c) when I called her on making that FB post, she was like "oh, is that you?" insert eye roll emoji
(d) the excuse was that she thought there might've been money in there & because we get mixed up with another street in the area with a similar name & blah blah blah, I've largely forgotten the details of our conversation now lol
All it was a birthday card for my mother from a close & long-time friend of hers who lives interstate, who put the wrong street number on the card. Pretty sure this isn't the first time she's addressed things to us incorrectly either, but I'll forgive her for it.
Oh she sounds absolutely charming........not......
There’s one in every neighbourhood, sadly. Beyond me why people would want to be like that though.
I think once there is an issue with a neighbour it is impossible to get over it. They are just jerks shells so just try not to focus on them. Get on here and rant and we can agree with you, lol.
What’s annoying me at the moment? We’re staying at a beachhouse and it’s an Optus blackspot which keeps dropping in and out (mostly out).
Luckily got my platinum status granted on Monday before we arrived otherwise I wouldn’t have been eligible.
I’ll have to wait till we get home to catch up on all the forums.
This is the second time I’ve written this comment as the first time I’d just finished typing, then service dropped out. Fingers crossed this comment loads!
Doesn’t that drive you mad! In this day and age it’s just not good enough!
But you think that’s bad, we had the same problem with Telstra and we were living in suburban Melbourne! Yes, it was a newer area, but that’s no excuse. We lived in Clyde North for about 2 years, moved from there in April. We were lucky if we had one bar on our phones. But of course they still want to charge full price for no service. We tried to complain but didn’t get anywhere. So basically we couldn’t use our mobiles unless we were inside and connected to WiFi.
