Get better soon hachoo! Big hugs....
ughh i hate ginger ! :s
Thanks P75 for your input, i don't believe she is a total control freak, its more what you said about her having past issues with boyfriends before getting together with my son, she is a nice girl, however she has her moments, she gets really jealous about trival things, i think she is a little imature at times, she is 20 and my son 23.I also agree with what you said if the role was reversed. Anyway it was still on my mind, so i did say something to her last week, unfortunately i had a few drinks that night and told her what i thought, i wasn't nasty or anything like that, but i had forgotten what i said to her lol, my son told me in the morning, i was a little embarssed, but as my GF said its was bothering me, so i let it out. i also went up to her mums house and told her, and she actually agreed with me.I guess will see how things go. they are all going on a cruise in March, my son and her family, i just hope there's no drama's on board, i suppose ill be stressing a bit then too.
hey HC im glad u let her kno how u feel. sometimes its good to let things out in the open. i hope the cruise goes well with ur son and her family
Right now, my thyroid. I have hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) so have been on thyroxine (thyroid replacement) for a few years now, and have been in the habit of taking the meds by setting my alarm to wake me up at 4am to take the thyroxine then go back to bed for another 2 hours because the meds are meant to be taken 2 hours before food or 3 hours after food, as they can be greatly affected (weakened) by a lot of different foods / vitamins or other medications.
Last week I got the flu and become so absent minded and over tired and drowsy and without realising until I saw the GP yesterday, that on thursday friday and sunday I have accidently taking double my dose of thyroxine tablets, resulting in me temporarily becoming hyperthyroid (overactive thyroid). The symptoms being vomiting, diarrhea, heart palpitations, trembling, restlessness, anxiety etc etc etc. The most prominent physical symptoms being hair loss, as I have found huge clumps of hair in the shower the last couple of days, and my hair being so frizzy it looks like I have stuck my finger into a power socket, and my eyes looking like big puffy red goldfish eyes. The great news is that this is only temporary and will subside in a few days so I know it will pass soon enough, I just have to now make sure to write the days on each tablet on the blister part of the pack to make sure I never make the same mistake again. Would be better if the tablet manufacturer actually did this, like they do with the contraceptive pill having the days on them. Maybe I should right to them and suggest that lol.
sorry for rambling on, I just had to get MY stupid mistake off my chest!
Gosh, Hachoo, that is awful ! Once you get better, you must go and pamper yourself !
What is annoying me? People texting me in the middle of the night ! So rude !
Thinking of you Hachoo darl, hope things get better soon :)
Oh Hachoo, I know exactly where you're coming from darl! I had to have my Thyroid removed completely a few years ago, due to having an over active thyroid & and cysts growing on it..... Nearly 4 years on & the Doctor's still can't get my medication levels right, One minute I'm over active, then when they change my dosage I'm under active! So I have to have blood tests done every 3 months..... Argh, so frustrating...... I hope things turn out better for you & things get back to normal quickly! ♥
I hope you begin feeling better soon Hachoo, sounds like you really having a bad time, take it easy and try not to stress to much, i know its easier said than done, take care.
I hope you get everything sorted out too fifi, it must feel like your on a rollercoaster.
Thanks all, you really did put a smile on my face. At least I know that this will pass so I just have to be patient.
That's terrible Fifi. Wishing you all the best of luck with the doctor getting your dose right, it took me years to get mine right so understand were you're coming from. Like hot chillies said, must feel like a rollercoaster that you want off of.
Hope you feel better soon hachoo, and i hope they sort out your dosage fifi. Hugs!
Whats annoying me at the moment?
My brother. He started on Jenny Craig a couple months ago and has been sticking with it to the letter until about 2 weeks ago. I finally got to a stage where i didnt have to LABEL my food in the fridge! And I walk out to get some of my pasta i made for myself last night (designed to last me a few days) and he's chowing down on whats left of it! I spend alot of my time at home studying etc and dont like cooking every time I get hungry, so I make a few things in bulk to last me through each week.
I will go and buy something as a treat for myself or for my lunches for uni and its quite obvious its something we dont usually have the in fridge - a normal person would look at it and go... thats different, i better not eat it.. it could be someones or for an occasion.... no the men in my household dont think! They just eat it! I used to have to label everything from chocolate to cooked meals in containers ready to take for lunch! and i finally was not having to open the fridge to little labels everywhere! Looks like I'll have to start doing it again :(
Sorry for venting, its just frustrating :( I know its a little thing and not very important in the grand scheme of things, but today its really bugging me.
Oh and it doesnt matter how many times i tell him how unhygenic and disgusting it is... he drinks straight out of our water jugs! and not just a sip either. We use old V8 juice bottles (glass) for our cold water in the fridge... he keeps doing it! and its really annoying me! :P
Sorry :P i'll shush now!
Hi Chrissynick, you can vent as much as you want, i have the same problem at my house with my sons, i love my chocolate, unfortunately a bit too much lol. I have tried hiding it in different places, to no avail, i think they just smell it out. Oh then when i ask who ate it one blames the other, at least you know its your brother. I can imagine it get very fustrating for you. Good luck with that.
Nothing is annoying me at the moment, thank god. cheers
Lol. Thanks hot chillies :)
This will sound bad. but sometimes I wish my brother would just move out :P He's old enough! (28!) :P I guess its natural that siblings annoy the heck out of each other :P I have an excuse to still live at home I'm 19 and a full time student. I'm lucky though, my parents let me move into my own little end of the house. Its a double garage that got renovated into a room for my sister years and years ago when she was a single mum. So I can have my independence and space... except when I need to get to the fridge or bathroom! :P
My mum hides her chocolate in the top drawer next to her bed! :P I dont ever take it, she would know its me, but at least if i get a craving I know I can ask her for a piece and she'll have an emergency supply! :P Lol smelling it out - thanks for making me laugh :P The image is just too funny. Can you imagine a couple of boys standing in the house like sniffer dogs... smelling the air.... following their nose! :P
Aw Hachoo gett bettterrrr!!!
LOL AT YVETTE! Yes, I find it quite rude as well (not realy, i jsut put my phone on silent and its not in my room so its all good haha)
Ahahaha Chrissynick ur story made me laugh (sorry if that sounds rude) but i kno wat u mean!! bloody hell i always go to the shops with my parents to buy chocolate, chips, (and other healthy food) to eat, but my bro just plays on his computer 24/7 and scabs all the food and eats A WHOLE PACKET OF CHIPS IN A DAY!!!!!!!!!! grr i hate my bro heappps. He's such a pig !
Lol its okay that you laughed :P
Boys. well Brothers more specifically.... they can really be a pain sometimes! (So can sisters too! :P I have one of each lol)
My sis sounds like your brother chrissynick
i occassionally treat myself to lollies/choc block, and as soon as im gone - no more choc!!
I'd loveee to have a sister!! We could talk about anything and we'd kno wat each other is going through and we'd hang with each other ..... wayyyyy better than a brother !!
Lol. I wish my sister and I had been like that Veronica. Sadly shes 12 years older and so when I was growing up she didnt want much to do with me - i was "annoying and uncool" :P. Now shes 31 with 2 kids and isnt the least bit girly :(. Luckily I have a good friend who acts as a good girly sister substitute :P
my sister won $20000 and came round and gave me $200 that really annoyed me
I was ment to go to europe wiht my old beauty school now 3 weeks to go they cancelle it. i have spent over $700 on things to buy and passport and i had to beg and borrow money because i dont have a job im so $%^# off. should i get my money back on he stuff i got form the school. i wont be going later in the year they have messed us around way too much
Aw sorry to hear that Melissa, that really sucks :( I hope you can at least get most of the money back, though I know you probably bought alot of stuff you wont need now :( hugs
i did seeing as it was going to be like -1 school better give me some money. I find it odd that one week they say all the info has been sent in the mail then oh sorry we are not going anymore.
This product exceeded my expectations massively. The texture of the product is really nice light and no smell whatsoever.
I got this in a Christmas kit in the shade Lean in. I’m not sure if the problem is the shade or the gloss itself but I don’t think it’s a product to use on its own.
I got this product in the shade 872 Glit/Doré. I find that the colour looks nice on first application but as soon as you blend it it fades and you’re just left with a bunch of glitter in your eye.
