Smart phone Apps

Hello
This may seem like a random question but Im interested in getting some new apps on my phone.
I’ve got the usual ones like travel, public transport, games but I’m interested to know what apps ppl have, can recommend or use on their phone.
Anything interesting or new too!
So what apps do you have on your phone?
PS not just beauty.
Cheers.

I also have Rainy Mood – that’s an oldie but a goodie. Just the sound of rain – usually if I want some ambience while I’m writing or whatever. Coffivity is another one that mimics the sounds of being in a coffee shop.

Here’s some of the ones I use the most…..

    • BOM weather

    • Messenger

    • ShopShop – lets you create a shopping list, and you can cross items off as you go

    • PTV – Melbourne public transport

    • Units Plus – convert currency, length, weight etc

    • Banking – what ever did we do before internet banking!

    • Pay Stay, EasyPark – car parking apps

    • plus the usual Facebook, Instagram, email, maps etc

    Here’s some I use:

    • BOM Weather (it gives you the UV index for the day as well as how long you’ll need sun protection for)

    • Acast. I’ve just got into the world of listening to podcasts this year & although it doesn’t have every podcast out there, it’s still a pretty good app to have & I’ve found it downloads stuff fairly quickly, depending on connection. Some podcasting apps I’ve found you need an account for & I cba getting one just to listen to stuff.

    • Calm (one of these days I might actually sign up for an account, or even Premium as I’m increasingly discovering limitations with it, but I still enjoy using it)

Since my last post (three years ago–eep!), I’ve been using Plant Nanny to track my water in-stake.

Pollen Count is a good one for keeping check of hay fever triggers, and there is a Sydney Pollen Count version for people based in Sydney. Really helpful app to have during Spring.

I also now use Yomu to read ebooks.

I love pinterest, I love using it for beauty ideas (make up, nails, hair) and everything in between. The period tracker is a staple for me. It allows me to track my symptoms from month to month, this has helped me so much because it allows me to notice patterns and how I can reduce the symptoms, it also helps me recognize any changes in my cycle.
