RIP TO ANOTHER CELEBRITY

Wow just heard that Jonathan Coleman has died from Prostate Cancer.

I remember seeing him on Studio 10 talking to Sarah Harris that he was having chemo and how she was nearly in tears when he was talking about it all.

I only just saw him on the show the other week and I thought he was doing alright but sadly no. Such sad news to hear as he was an icon.

RIP Jonathan.

    It’s only breaking news now but Johnny Ruffo has lost his battle with his cancer. He has just died aged 35. I remember reading that he was hoping that he would survive past Christmas as his brother was coming from overseas to see him. Just so sad to hear this news just then.

    RIP Johnny Ruffo – sympathies to his girlfried that has stood by him all this time and to his family.

    I just heard that Matthew Perry, from Friends, has died. Early reports say he drowned in a hot tub, but the judgement was deferred pending a toxicology report. Wow!

      @Misfortune yes very sad news to hear of his passing. It is getting to the stage of so many passing lately. Some actor died today also but I don’t know him, from one of those American dramas.

      @Misfortune8 I am still trying to fathom that she has gone. I have been watching so many you tube videos of her and she was brillant in every one. It just hits home when you have grown up with all these celebrities. I am still getting over Olivia passing. It’s got to the stage, I haven’t watched any news lately as I don’t want to hear any more celebrities going.

        I made this comment over 2 weeks ago, in the early hours of the day she died. I don’t know why it’s taken so long to get published. For the last few weeks, EVERY SINGLE forum & article comment goes into m-o-d-e-r-a-t-i-o-n.

    Tina was so amazing and talented. She had such a hard life. I am so glad she ended up with such an amazing man in the end.What a loss to the world.

    I was reading an article yesterday about Tina Turner and I didn’t know her husband donated a kidney to her a few years ago.

      No that was an amazing thing to do and I am glad Tina had some good times after all she had suffered during her life.Amazing woman!!

      @Hayley644 yes I do remember him giving her one of his kidneys. I am just glad that she met someone that was perfect for her after the traumatic life she had with Ike.

    I hadn’t watched any news yesterday as busy but I see Rolf Harris died also. I have no words for him. I know we used to watch him years ago when I was little and loved his shows but knowing what he did now, just makes my skin crawl.

    I just find it hard to believe that all these other celebrities that I have grown up with are passing. I am still getting over losing Olivia and Judith Durham.

      @Hayley644 – that was such sad news to hear today. What a beautiful, amazing person she was. She loved Australia and we have lost another legend of a singer. They have been playing her songs on the radio here all day and there is not one song that you go, that’s horrible.

    Not being disrespectful but I don’t watch Masterchef and have no idea who this person was. I feel sorry for his family with his sudden passing to have the news all over the media must make a difficult time for them even harder.

    This afternoon was watching tv when the announcement came over Vale Jock Zofrillo (from Masterchef). Gosh he was only 46 but to take your own life with a young family in tow. It is just so sad.

    I was only just watching some recipe he was doing on facebook last night and now he has gone.

    I know he has suffered problems re mental health but just feeling so sad that he has passed and thinking of his family at this time.

    RIP Jock, you will be so missed by everyone that knew you or followed you on Masterchef.

      @Jatz I can’t wrap my head around how he went like that and so suddenly at this time. Such a great loss. He was wonderful on Masterchef but he was also a titan in the food industry. He had niche knowledge about Indigenous ingredients as well, which was something unique he brought to Masterchef.

      I have never really gotten over Anthony Bourdain passing the same way, quite suddenly too. I think about Anthony all the time. They are so similar.

        I used to love Anthony Bourdain’s shows on TV. Very honest and interesting.
        I’m not a foodie but loved seeing the places he’d travel to.

        @Ethelinde I was reading that he has been suffering with bowel cancer but only family knew about it and some others but he has apparently been on chemo etc. It’s just so sad that he has gone. I just still can’t believe he has gone.

    I’m a big fan of Fleetwood Mac and Christine McVie was such a talented musician, so sad to hear she passed away.
