Yes I was really sad to hear this, he seemed to have his life going well and good health and was working, so this is really devastating

I saw your post jatz and immediately thought Red Symons had passed away! Then saw next post by ShopAE– Whew!

But I’ve skimmed through at the article and how terribly sad things have been for him. I have so much admiration and respect for him after reading this.

Yes it is quite sad reading about Red and his marriage breakup and then his son dying. He always came across as an annoyance for me when he was on Hey Hey but seeing him in a different light at the moment. You can`t help but feel sorry for where he is now.

My exact feelings (annoying and mean to contestants) about Red Symons jatz and I had no idea at the time the family were dealing wth their eldest son having cancer from 4 years of age. Little social media then so not too publicly known.

Sure is, Angry Anderson lost his son too, too many unnecessary deaths
