On the hunt for a new handbag!

Help ladies! For the last 18 months I have been carrying round an LV neverfull but I’m thinking its time to give it a rest. It’s been an absolute work horse but I’m looking for something a bit smaller as two of my kids start school this year and I don’t have to carry so much ‘kiddie crap’ around.
I’m a bit stuck though, I don’t want to spend as much this time, but I’m struggling to find one that suits my life style. I don’t want to go super cheap, and I need something that’s going to be really durable. Please help! I’d love to hear what others have brought and how durable they’ve been etc.

And I promise, I’m not spamming! I’m really stuck with this!

I love Guess and Christian LaCroix, they seem to suit my taste, but I don’t often shop for specific brand when shopping for bags, I more go for just any bag that catches my eye! (And suits my budget, of course!!)

I love colourful, statement pieces too

Oroton. I have bought a couple of black bags recently from their factory outlet shop at HarbourTown on the Gold Coast. They had a 70% off sale. A lot of their stock is the current range in places like Myer or DJ’s. I only buy Oroton now at their Factory outlet. Amazing prices.

I never spend heaps on my hand bags only because I mix and match so often.. I’m really loving Kate Hill at the moment though!

oooooooooh I so love handbags but they have to be the right one. Has to have pockets on the outside for all my little items I want to put in there. I generally just go to Strand Bags to buy a bag but I spend ages in there as it has to be the right one.
If I didn’t have hubby keeping tabs on my handbags……I would have a different one for every day lol. He’s pretty good though, he knows what I want in a handbag and he helps looks for the right one in the shops.
Love the above bags too 🙂

I think that the handbag is a really great looking one as I really like the look of black and gold. Well done on getting when it was reduced.

Hi there, I brought a leather bag from witchery around 12 months ago and it still looks brand new. The quality is really good and the prices are quite budget friendly. They tend to have a good range of larger and medium sized bags. Could be worth having a look 🙂

Coach have some very quality leather bags at a moderate range price. If you’re eyeing for quality bags that are relatively budget friendly, perhaps Diana Ferrari bags that retail in Myer and David jones.

I have Coach Madison Leather bag. Love it, however it is slightly heavy. I would recommend buying Coach from US. Australian prices are outrageous.
For budget-friendly quality leather bags, I saw some nice Fiorelli bags at Myer. Usually I don’t like their range, but it was pretty nice last month. I ended up buying one for a friend.

I love Hermes! But not exactly practical with 4 kids! I’ve asked for a Chanel for my 35th birthday, maybe Hermes can be my 40th!

Went to get the matching wallet today….. They didn’t have any left…. But I did buy some gorgeous Chanel sunglasses…. I figure what I saved on the bag I could spend on these!,

My ultimate bag is Hermes, more realistic Alexander Wang.
I used to use Oroton but think the quality has gone down as the prices went up. For the same money I would recommend Coach or Longchamp.
I agree with Petal about TVSN’s selection nothing seems to be over $500 and they have part payments-love! I am currently lusting after a MarlaFiji bag and some of the Spencer and Rutherford ones are gorgeous too.

My ultimate bag is a Hermes Kelly bag. I was near a Hermes store last month & hubby wanted to go in but I refused. Can’t go in & not walk out with one. Sadly they are way out of my current budget.
