Long jeans and pants for tall women!

Hi All 🙂

I’m so frustrated at trying on clothing that is supposedly ‘long leg length’ only to find that it’s suitable for women up to 5″11 and makes me look like pegleg the pirate. I’m 6″1 and proud of my height but struggle to find flattering garments, especially pants, skirts and dresses for my figure. I’ve recently come across Long Tall Sally in the UK which is great but does anyone know of other brands?

    Alloy does looong pants and jeans, including skinny jeans. TallandAll does clubwear but ships from the UK, so extra time is needed. If you type 36 or 35 inseam into your search engine, it will show many results, but I know your pain as I am 6’3″ and finding pants are frustrating but I was happy to find quite a few places have them.     arghhh its so annoying being short! People never think you are your age, I get asked if I’m in high school! No on takes you seriously! Also things never fit properly. You have to know how to sew and you also spend a lot on getting things altered that you cant do yourself
    Ahh listen to me, wah wah wah hahaha ok i’ll stop now hehe
    But yes, grass is always greener hehe 😀

    Hi Oceangirl, one of my best friends is about your height and she finds pants at Brown Sugar quite good for her. 🙂

    Ha!! The grass is always greener, trust me 🙂 the good thing about being short is that you can take pants up. If there is no/little hem I can’t take them down lol

    sass & bide do long length is some styles….. I found out the hard way when buying a pair off ebay…. I’m only 5″ so I had get chop off about half the leg lols

    Thanks for all of your suggestions ladies!! I might have a look at GAP and JeansWest at Chadstone, it’s just around the corner from my work. I’m so happy that Jeans West are making extra long jeans now as they have some great styles and seem to fit everywhere else! JayeKaye – I LOVE Review dresses and skirts but find the pants a bit ‘half mast’ lol! There’s definitely a market niche in Australia for tall women’s clothing….

    Im around 5’7.5 and have a pair of pants from Review that I wear for work that I had to have taken up by a good few inches or more. So maybe try a place like that for pants? Also, jeans I have from Forever21 seem pretty long in the leg too 🙂

    Im 5″9 and for the first time ever got a pair of pants taken up!
    haha! It was a grey pair from country road, they where really long for some reason! Was only a few weeks ago that I got them, prob well on clearance by now!
