It’s getting hard to find descended magazine that does not have all the crap like some do.
    R.I.P Cleo.

Its a shame about all these magazines going under, but at the same time I worked at a big chain supermarket a few years ago while I was finishing my degree at uni and there were always lots of them left when the new one came in. Unfortunately staff couldn’t take the old ones home, that was considered “stealing” so they had their covers ripped off and were chucked in the bin out back. Regardless, I can imagine Australia wide how many magazines they paid to have produced that were just chucked out. I’m sure bad selling months would have been a bit of a struggle with production costs vs revenue as with any business. It really is such a shame though, I am a bit of a sucker for the trashy take 5 / that’s life mags purely for the puzzle pages and chance to win prizes (I’ve completed and submitted them quite often and never won anything but maybe one day hahahahaha)

It interesting though because overseas this isn’t happening. In fact I continue to buy the UK Cosmo and you can still get the USA one too. I’m not surprised about Elle though, never found it interesting.

That’s truly a pity; but that’s the way things are going. Gone are the days we read actual books and magazines; but everything is now on computer.
I’ve never been an avid reader of “Cleo”; but I must confess to having bought quite a few of them.
    Another ion bites the dust!

I loved this magazine when I was younger and used to subscribe to it. I’ve since subscribed to Elle and Marie Claire magazines.
