Divorcee gives away ex’s belongings in yard sale

A Wisconsin woman has marked the finalisation of her divorce by giving away all her ex-husband’s possessions and spraying-painting his car with the word “cheater”.
The woman from the city of Superior displayed her former husband’s belongings on their front yard with signs reading “Free” and “X-husband sale” last week, KARE 11 reports.
The unusual outpouring of anger prompted many motorists to stop and photograph the scene, eventually drawing the attention of police.
When officers arrived they surveyed the situation before towing away the former husband’s defaced vehicle, saying that it was a traffic hazard.
Superior Police Sgt. William Lear said there is no law to stop someone spray-painting a vehicle on their lawn.
“If it’s a running vehicle and someone wants to paint their own car, they can do it,” he said.
