cheap-ish but good quality and good looking sunglasses?
I’m talking $60 or so… but not more than $100 .
also, I have an industrial piercing so would prefer the ones with thin or wire sides so it won’t interfere.
any ideas?
thankyou 🙂

Wait for a sale, then you’ll get all the nice ones for a great price. Polaroid is a cheap brand but has good quality lens in terms of protection for the eyes.
and lucky for me there were sales on!!!
I went to sunglass hut and got some ray bans for $75 normally $150.
they’re blue and fade to clear towards the bottom of the lenses.
the lenses are really good too. not too dark but definitely everything less harsh and makes colours nicer somehow lol.really happy! 😀
Great work, Swooping – really pleased for you.

They have some great sunnies in Myer which go from like $50 up.
I bought some “Le Specs” sunglasses there not too long go which were $150 down to $25!! (they were on sale and with the added discount of my Mum’s Myer one card though).I found Le Specs sunnies a while ago with a mega-discount. I got them for around $40 instead of over $100 from DFO (DFO is only in Victoria though)
Also, I’ve bought a couple of pairs of sunglasses from Sportsgirl in the past. Nice looking but really cheap. And they don’t break in 5 minutes. I don’t shop at Sportsgirl but their sunnies are kind of decent.

I normally look around shops like sunglasses hut. I also saw some pretty nice looking ones at Portmans, but of course those are branded

Hi swoopingbuzzards,
I’m not sure which city you are in so I’m not sure what shops you have in your area. In Melbourne at the DFO stores (southwarf and Moorabbin) there is a shop called Florentine Eyewear (I’m pretty sure that is their name), they have good quality and expensive brands in the two stores I have been to they have a 85% off full priced display of glasses.
Some of these are glasses have ‘unique’ styles or colours (or some are excess stock of popular styles which are one-two seasons out) but I have found two pairs of glasses that suited me perfectly over the years both were reduced from $350 to ~$53 and are of excellent quality.
I cannot guarentee that you will find a style you like from the discount range but if you open your mind and if you want good quality glasses for a cheap price tag it is worth at least a look.Good luck!
