Hey beauty’s

Can you recommend holiday destinations within Australia to take young kids along too? I’m on the west coast but would like travel somewhere with my kids. Open to suggestions and experiences. TIA

don’t really know the age of your kids? we went to port lincoln, and stayed at the Big 4 caravan park, it was an adventure.
older kids might like gold coasts
    foodie kids might like melbourne?
but my kid loves train, so sydney and melbourne were a blast for him.

Coffs Harbour, Forster and Ulla Dulla are all great! Caravan Parks are also really affordable and fun as you’re interacting with other travellers. We usually travel and find camping spots, bring the BBQ and enjoy without electricity – this is lots of fun also!

Really depends on pricing and what kind of holiday you are after. I love forster and so do my girls (6 & 8) it is nice and relaxing then if you want you can go to Coffs Harbour from there also even a day trip its 3 hours. Terrigal and Vicentia are also recommendations I have heard from others…

I’m from WA, and we’ve done Esperence and Margaret River a lot. Esperence is beautiful and theres plenty to do in the Margaret River area for kids plus mum might get to try some wines too! (i’d sty out of the city though, lots of chalet type accommodation around which is great for kids)

Just went to Margaret River its defiantly a favourite but Esperance I haven`t been there since I was a kid. I do remember the beaches and they were just beautiful. Might have to do a big road trip down there this year and have lots of stops on the way. Thanks

I also think Hamilton Island is a great family friendly place to holiday. As well as water activities there’s a zoo and a bowling alley. My kids loved it.

    So many places to go.

We had our honeymoon at Hamilton Island on the quiet side and ventured into the tourists area that were families and so many having fun. Kids love it there.

There is also the Gold Coast where you can visit the theme parks like SeaWorld which is a lovely day out.

Port Stephens is also a great spot to go as lots to do there and places to go to.

Port Macquarie is also good. Actually anywhere on the coast is just fabulous whether it be Qld or NSW.

In the past we’ve all enjoyed Australia the best . the Central Coast ( eg Terrigal, Coffs, Shellharbour ) , Nth Coast ( eg Fosters ) and Sth Coast ( eg Kiama , Wollongong etc ) . Blue Mountains is also a nice place for everyone too . Others incl: Melbourne, Adelaide, QLd Gold coast ( Surfers Pde ) were all fun and plenty of eaterys.

Coffs Harbour is great, lots of kids activities.
Gold Coast, all the theme parks etc, for younger kids look at paradise resort too.
Canberra is actually really good, questacon zoo and aquarium I’ve been multiple time with my little one and there has always been more than enough to do.

I’ve heard daydream island is great with little ones (under 6 ish) but haven’t personally experienced.
