The genius way to break in heels

Have you ever snapped up some sassy new shoes, only to find your feet covered in blisters after that first wear?
Yeah, it’s the worst. And a very real beauty struggle.
That’s why we were so psyched to hear some amazing advice from celeb stylist June Ambrose this morning.
Speaking to allure.com, she told what she does when she has a new pair:
"To make sure I don't get any bruising, I spray deodorant on my feet so they don’t sweat when I’m breaking the new pair of heels in.
“It keeps feet dry, because if your skin gets wet, and then the friction hits that wetness, and it starts to open up the skin. That’s why you get blisters."
So a spritz of deodorant could be all you need to prevent those post-party pains.
If you ask me, this trick, combined with Kendall Jenner’s clever tact, could spell the end to our woes.
I will be testing it out ASAP!
Have you tried this heel trick? Do you have any other tips for dealing with new shoes?

I'll definitely be trying this! Nothing worse than breaking in a new pair of heels.

I just thought what if you still blister and the deodorant gets in the blister! I'm into comfy heels and smaller heels these days! I stock up on the bandaids when I feel a blister or sore area forming. Then give the feet a break!

I prefer Flats and when I do wear high heels on the odd occasion, it is not a blister but more a back problem. If I feel new shoes may be too tight, I wear them at home a couple of hours with thick socks, that generally works for me. On the first day out with your new shoes, wear them to a place where you know you won't be long on your feet, even if it's only a quick shopping trip to the supermarket or the hair dressers. If all else fails, get a band aide :)

Good to know if you wear heels.

I like that tip - it makes sense that drying out your feet with deodorant would stop them slipping around and causing blisters.

I LOVE my heels, but I only really wear them to dinner or weddings now - I put comfort over fashion (I know!!!). I can't stand the discomfort these days; but when I was younger I would wear them all day. I have no idea how i did it now!
