Five minutes with...Miranda Kerr
An all-Aussie public holiday calls for an all-Aussie interview – and who better to have a chat with than true blue beauty, Miranda Kerr! Not only does this home-grown girl have international supermodel status (have you seen her strut her stuff on the Victoria's Secret runway?), a damn hot hubby on her arm, and a new baby, but she also heads up her very own line of organic skincare products. Does the girl ever sleep?? Apparently so...
Bh: Who's your beauty icon and why?
MK: My grandmother, she is a living testament to everything I believe in when it comes to health and beauty. At the age of twelve she introduced me to Tahitian Noni Juice and that was what inspired me to create the KORA Organics range.
Bh: What’s your biggest beauty sin?
MK: Not getting enough sleep at times. Sleep is definitely one of the best-kept beauty secrets.
Bh: What’s your worst-ever beauty faux pas?
MK: I had my eyebrows waxed once and they tore skin off (wax was too hot!) while doing it – it was not pleasant but I felt sorry for the person who did it as she was so apologetic and felt terrible.
Bh: What’s on your bedside table?
MK: My gratitude journal and a pen so I can read and write my affirmations, a silk eye mask, earplugs, glass of water, and a lamp.
Bh: What’s the last beauty item you bought?
MK: An illuminator from RMS – natural cosmetics.
Bh: What's your favourite thing to do on the weekend?
MK: With the work I do I have learnt to be flexible and relax whenever I have the chance because I do not always have the weekend off. When I do have a day off, sleeping in is the first thing I do then read, practice yoga maybe do a little shopping or just go for a stroll with [my dog] Frankie and listen to music wherever I may be.
Bh: What’s the most interesting place you’ve travelled to and why?
MK: Morocco, your senses are constantly engaged with new and interesting colours, sounds and scents.
Bh: What item would you never leave home without?
Bh: If you were shipwrecked on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
MK: A beach towel, a great book and a boat!
Bh: If you weren't modelling you'd be...?
MK: Working full time on developing the KORA Organics range and expanding the brand internationally.
Are you tried any of the KORA Organics products? If you could pick any celebrity to be your husband, who would it be?
