If there was one party I’d love to have tickets for,  it would be the Young Hollywood Awards – and why not? It’s abuzz with some of the best up-and-comers Hollywood has to offer, and choc-full with so much glamour and style it’s often hard for the average Joe to swallow.

Luckily we had the privilege of checking out some of the best looks these new-age trendsetters have to offer – and we just had to share our hints and tricks for copying these looks at home. (Well, it’s the next best thing to getting invited, right?)

Check out three beauty looks that we couldn’t tear our eyes away from…

Ginnifer Goodwin: aka pretty in pink

Pixie cuts and pretty feminine hues don’t normally go hand-in-hand. You could be forgiven for associating crops that short with edgier, punk-style beauty looks – but in this shot, Ginnifer reminds us that she can pull off the ultimate pretty pink hue like no-one’s business.

How to master this look at home: dreamy, creamy skin is the order of the day. Ensure you use foundation and a good concealer to really mute out any uneven colours in your skin tone and that your face has a clean, even palette. With the hair and lips being focal points of this look, keep everything else to a minimum. A touch of pink blush on the apples of your cheeks, a slick of white eyeshadow over your top lash line and a few sweeps of black mascara should do the trick.

Your key beauty tool: a good, longwearing lipstick that moisturises your lips, so there’s no chance of your lip shade ‘balling up’ and flaking off. We love Ulta3 Matte Lipstick in Hot Pink Kisses for its creamy formula.

Ashley Greene: aka desserty deliciousness

Is that a melted block of Cadbury’s finest? Oh no, it’s just Ash Greene’s decadent tresses, sweeping over her shoulder blades – all seductive-like. Better still, she’s continued the scrumptious colour scheme over her face as well, rocking a shimmery hazelnut hue on her eyelids and a matte bronze on her cheeks. Delish.

How to master this look at home: clashing finishes is hot, hot, hot right now. Greene teams her shiny, chocolate hair and shimmery lids with a matte sculpting hue on her cheeks, and a touch of simple lip colour.  To keep the look subtly sexy, apply shadow just to your eyelid – no higher than the eye crease.  That way, you only see a sexy shot of colour just above your eye, or when you blink. Also, keep your mane this super shiny by treating it weekly with a dose of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Treatment Mask – which nourishes and provides a covetable sheen.

Your key beauty tool: a shimmer-heavy cream eyeshadow is your ticket to a tantalising stare (and can maketh an entire beauty look). Try Bloom Liquid Eye Shadow in Sun if you want to mimic Green’s gorgeous peepers.

Bella Thorne: aka strawberry sasspot

How can you be sweet and sassy all at the same time? Just ask Bella Thorne – who seems to pull it off perfectly. The secret? Uber-radiant skin, winged liner and a girly gorgeous strawberry blonde ‘do. Not only is she rocking the Pollyanna half-up/half-down ‘do like no-one’s business, that balayaged strawberry blonde hue is bang on trend right now.

How to master this look at home: Fact: Dewy skin gives the appearance of a youthful glow, while powdered, matte complexions are traditionally worn on more mature faces.  Choose a radiance-enhancing foundation, or mix a little Vani-T Mineral Liquid Radiance in with your regular foundation for an all-over glow. To recreate the half-up/half-down do, simply sweep pieces on either side of the crown of your head towards the back and secure with a pretty hairclip for a sweet-as-pie finish.

Your key beauty tools: To add a bit of ‘sass’ to this sugary-sweet beauty look, simply add an edgy winged-liner look to each eye. This gives an Amy Winehouse-style sass. We recommend Maybelline New York Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner for a perfect line every time.
