Well, it’s official. E! News has confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s little girl has been named North (no middle name) West.
According to a source, the proud parents will call her Nori for short.
The source also revealed the following:
“She has black straight hair! Lots of it! Looks like a good mix of both of them [Kanye and Kim] but more like Kim,” says the source. “She’s adorable!”
“Kanye is so in love with her. He won’t leave her side.”

North West. Like the direction. Like the point on a compass. Yikes.
We know celebrities are quite fond of left-of-centre names (our hearts bleed for you Pilot Inspektor, Zuma Nesta Rock and Bronz Mowgli), but this almost seems like a cruel joke. Any child not borne from celebrities would be mercilessly teased with a name like that. But somehow we imagine little North won’t suffer the same fate thanks to her superstar status.
But who knows? Maybe this rumour is just that, and we’ll find out tomorrow that Kim and Kanye have gone with a traditional Kardashian ‘K’ name that seems normal when compared to North.
