Top treatments to try: Endota Heel and Toe

It’s a hard slog, but someone’s got to do the research. This week, to celebrate the launch of our new salon and spa directory, Bh is fearlessly laying skin, body and sole on the line to track down the most indulgent, most worth-it ways to wind down and glam up in the salon.
Today, some tortured soles find salvation…

What: Endota Spa Heel and Toe

Where:Endota spas nationally. Check endota.com.au for your nearest location
Spend: $75
Treatment time: 60 minutes
Why we love it…

An hour-long, multi-layered pampering session to bring life back to even the most unloved feet? Bliss! After a hard day’s shopping in tres chic Brunswick Street in Fitzroy (my Sydneysider girlfriends and I only go to Melbourne for one thing!), four pairs of neglected, aching feet found themselves in romantic Flinders Lane in the city. And in dire need of rejuvenation. So my friends and I checked into Endota Spa for an emergency pedicure and polish.

Rather than just sitting up (which never feels quite so relaxing), we all took a well-deserved lie down in a dimly lit and perfectly climatised treatment room (is there anything worse than a chilly spa?) and prepared to be spoilt. We weren’t disappointed.

I can’t even remember all the indulgent courses I enjoyed from the extensive Endota foot menu – I was too blissed out to think – but Amanda, my therapist, confirmed afterwards that my feet had been treated with organic Kakadu plum, West Australian mud, creams drenched with desert lime, and scrubs featuring ginseng and mimosa.

All I know is the experience was really very lovely. Beautiful aromas drifted through the room (minus annoying dolphin sounds), the massage, scrub, massage routine was heavenly and my soft and polished feet felt refreshed and ready for the next onslaught. Acland Street, then Chapel Street, then…
