Spring beauty thrills

Spring beauty thrills

With September comes the excitement of spring, the intention to go with less black and more coloured frocks and the scary realisation that it’s getting warm enough to walk around in thongs (our feet so aren’t ready to be shown in public yet), but let’s not get carried away and forget to give credit to the advances in beauty and skincare that we’ve been soo lucky to gain.

Dermalogica thrilled us with the concept of fun skincare and its Clean Start range. I can’t go past Clean Start Brighten Up SPF 15 – a moisturiser with shimmer and SPF- so clever! Plus, it’s suitable for all ages.

Inika launched the world’s first certified organic body bronzing mousse, so even the natural beauty nuts among us can sport a gorgeous faux glow all year round.

MAC celebrated the idea of the Artist – with collections inspired by three individuals who specialise in painting, illustration and photography. The collections exemplify bold, abstract colour and the ranges mimic the artist’s individual visions.

L’Occitane delivered the goods again this month with a gorgeous fragrance destined to send hearts all a-flutter. Rose Eau des 4 Reines Eau de Toilette is sensual, mysterious and definitely dressing-table worthy.
