Nicole Kidman reveals the $13 Aussie SPF she can’t live without

In news that is as unsurprising as it is disappointing, Nicole Kidman has revealed that she only takes five minutes to ready her flawless, porcelain skin each morning.

Which tells us two things. The first? Genetics are playing a major role here.

Speaking to InStyle, Nicole revealed she is strictly a “5-minute girl” when it comes to her daily skin care regimen. And let’s face it, any woman with a complexion that spectacular who can get away with the bare minimum when it comes to serums, lotions and potions, is BLESSED.

This leads us to our next point. Any products that do manage to get the exclusive call up, must be gold.

So when one of said products is only  $13 and from none other than beloved Aussie brand Cancer Council, it’s a call for celebration.

While speaking of the products she “leans heavily on”, Nicole explained, “I’m not going to sit there for an hour pampering myself. I don’t like dry, scaly skin. Who does? But that’s my skin’s tendency”.

And as dry skin types can often find sunscreens trigger irritation, Nicole has found The Cancer Council’s Sensitive Sunscreen SPF50+ to be her saving grace. “I apply it all over my face and hands,” she said.

The fact the sunscreen is dermatologically-tested and fragrance-free bodes well for those with similar sensitivities, and the formula also contains aloe vera and vitamin E, both of which are known for their hydrating and soothing properties.

So hey, if it’s good enough for Nicole, it’s good enough for us.

  1. Turns out! I have this at home already – unopened!
I must have bought it when there was a sale on and just as a spare sunscreen.
I am cleaning out things in anticipation for baby number 2.

  2. Biore water essence is my favorite. Has a really light consistency that really is clear. It is brilliant. It’s easy to find around Sydney CBD but might be harder to find in other places.

  3. I prefer to buy sunscreens with a minimum of synthetic chemicals from online stores such as Nourished Life, Flora and Fauna etc.

I’ve reported the spam by Amelia43 and Oliviahannah.
