Twenty females aged 18 to 24 with an olive skin tone, who were regular fake tan users and preferably seeking a dark tanning product.The triallers were instructed to exfoliate their skin and ensure that it was clean and free of product such as moisturiser and deodorant, before applying Le Tan Uber Dark Violet Base. They were then advised to apply at least one layer of the fake tan, or two layers for a darker tan. They were advised to wash the product off after three hours for a less intense, dark tan, or alternatively leave it on overnight for the darkest result.For best results, the triallers were advised to use the Le Tan® Application Mitt supplied, together with the product.

, Le Tan Uber Dark Violet Base is a tanning product that is specifically designed to work with olive skin tones. Formulated to provide a salon quality, dark, bronze-brown tan, the foam contains highly concentrated tanning actives to provide the darkest tan possible, while still looking natural. The fragrance-free formula also contains odour neutralisers to eliminate fake tan smell, as well as moisturising ingredients to promote intense skin hydration and long-lasting results. The triallers liked the packaging of the product, describing it as sleek, elegant and stylish. The majority found the formula easy to apply, and agreed that it blended well with the mitt supplied. Many noted that the formula provided a convenient colour guide during application, helping them achieve thorough coverage without missing any spots. The majority also agreed that the product was scent-free, with only a small number detecting a hint of fake tan smell. All of the triallers were pleased with the end result, describing their tans as dark, even and suited to their olive skin tones.
