Why is it that bad guys and rebels are always chewing gum in the movies? The truth is, gum is anything but bad-arse, it’s actually super virtuous! Chewing gum has many more uses besides making you look tough. In fact, chewing gum after eating aids digestion and can get you out of a bad breath bind when you’ve eaten too much garlic bread. It’s also a nifty little fix when you’re in a jam – it can plug holes, stop leaky pipes and stick posters to the wall! Ok, so none of those uses are recommended, but we still think it’s pretty cool! Here’s how to pick the gum that’s right for you…

If you suffer bad breath…
Chew cinnamon gum. Studies have found that chewing on cinnamon gum can cut down odour-causing bacteria in the mouth by up to fifty percent!

If you’ve got a hot date…
Chew on orange gum. Research has shown that men find the smell of orange alluring, so pop some orange chewy before meeting your date.
