    • In shower moisturisers need a dedicated article! I would love it if one of the BH Beauty Editors wrote an article focusing on Transepidermal Water Loss! We need to keep showering to a minimum and even then, only shower in lukewarm water. I love hot water but my skin suffers!

    • I want to try both the Jergens and Vaseline moisturisers. I’m a bit torn between using J&J and boycotting them. One of my best friends died from mesothelioma at the age of 38. I just wish J&J would address the asbestos in talc issue as they otherwise have some great brands like Aveeno and Neutrogena!

  1. I love Nivea products & I’ve tried two of their in-shower moisturisers. I can’t say I was that enthused.
I will try Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion next time because I do like the Dove equivalent.

  2. Aveeno for me. I use some of their other lotions, creams and balms and I love them all. An underrated product that can be often picked up as a bargain in half price sales. I mainly buy mine from Woollies.

  3. I don’t believe I’ve tried any of the mentioned products but would like to try Jergens. At the moment I’m using CeraVe Daily Moisturising Lotion and would also love to try the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist.

  4. Does the Jergens moisturiser really do any firming? I find that quite a rich claim. I do hope it’s true as we could all do with a bit more firmness in certain areas

  5. I haven’t tried any of these but would like to try the Aveeno Creamy Oil. The colloidal oatmeal does wonders for dry skin and Aveeno is the most natural out of all of these moisturisers.

  6. I’ve tried the NIVEA Shower Cream Rich Moisture Soft but I wasn’t thrilled that it didn’t lather up a little in the shower. I didn’t buy it again but in saying that I’m still a fan of NIVEAs other products.
