If you ask me, bath soak is one of the most blissful beauty products going around.
RELATED: How to make a relaxing bath
Recently, I tried Dr Teals Lavender Epsom Salts ($19.99, chemcorp.com.au) in my detox bath and I was amazed at how much of a difference they made! Not only did the bath water smell amazing, but the gorgeous lavender scent stayed on my skin for hours afterwards and I slept like a baby!
RELATED: All about essential oils
Since then, I’ve been singing Dr Teals praises to anyone who listens. And it got me thinking, which other bath soaks do our beautyheaven members love at the end of a long day? I did some digging and found 10 of your favourites (including some luxurious bath oils and bath bombs, to boot!). Check out the reviews below…
QV Bath Oil
“I really like the fragrance-free nature of QV Bath Oil as I have found some products in the past have flared up my eczema. It is relatively cheap too and comes in both small and larger bottles depending on [your] need.” – bh member Beautybyjessss
Lush Butterball Bath Bomb
“Lush Butterball Bath Bomb is a must-have whenever I go on a Lush spree. Its delicious scent will make you fall in love instantly, and when used [it] relaxes your entire body. While unlike the other bath products at Lush, it leaves your bath colourless, the cocoa butter will leave your skin feeling moisturised and softer than before.” – bh member HappyLittleGinger
Dermalogica Hydro-Active Mineral Salts
“I love multitasking beauty products and Dermalogica Hydro-Active Mineral Salts is a great one. Used as a scrub or a relaxing bath treatment, it really gives you your money’s worth. I love the scent – natural, earthy and relaxing. This is one of my favourite Dermalogica products and one that I repurchase over and over again.” – bh member Lucrecia62
DermaVeen Extra Gentle Shower & Bath Oil
“I’m absolutely obsessed with DermaVeen Extra Gentle Shower & Bath Oil and use it religiously when I have a bath. A little goes a long way, and the oil disperses evenly throughout the bath to make the water softer and silkier.” – bh member Beauty ObsessioN
Jo Malone London Bath Oil
“A hot, relaxing bath with [a] few drops of Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia Bath Oil is pure bliss. Your skin will feel silky smooth and moisturised, and your mind will fill with contentment and love.” – bh member Thebfly1
Chi Chi Bath Bomb Set
“I received Chi Chi Bath Bomb Set as a gift and I loved it! The bath bombs smell amazing and dissolve nicely in the bath. They also leave your skin feeling smooth and fresh. [It’s an] excellent gift idea as well, as the packaging is so pretty!” – bh member Mezzbeth21
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Bath and Shower Gel
“The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Bath and Shower Gel has the most yummy smelling fragrance – you can actually smell the naturalness in it, not sure if you know what I mean, but you’ll know when you smell it.” – bh member fee_dme
Aveda Soothing Aqua Therapy
“Aveda Soothing Aqua Therapy is a lush-smelling, relaxing, moisturising, and deep cleansing bath product. The salts are quite fine, not rough or big, and dissolve quickly in the bath. They can also be used as a body exfoliator.” – Edlie
L’OCCITANE Lavender Foaming Bath
“L’OCCITANE Lavender Foaming Bath is a lovely and bubbly bubble bath with the beautiful scent of lavender. It is strongly scented too, so you can definitely smell the lavender. It bubbles and lathers up nicely and the bubbles stay nice for a while too. [It makes for a] very relaxing bath and you will have a wonderful night’s sleep.” – bh member Shop A Everyday
Weleda Citrus Refreshing Bath Milk
“Weleda Citrus Refreshing Bath Milk is uplifting, very refreshing and perfectly citrus-scented. I have the matching Weleda Citrus Refreshing Body Oil, which is perfect to use after a bath. Its ingredients are mainly sweet almond oil and real lemon peel oil, and the scent lingers on my skin.” – bh member clearcrystalwater
Lush bath bomb a are the best, lush have such a great range
I miss having a bath in my house, we only have a shower. As a kid and teen I grew up with having regular baths, loved bubble baths.
I'm totally not a bath person.
You can’t go wrong with a Lush bathbomb!
