bh's 2014 beauty resolutions

Every year I seem to have the same generic New Year’s resolutions; get a body like Beyonce, stop eating my feelings and write the next Harry Potter so I can live off my millions. But this year I thought it might be a good idea to pick a New Year’s resolution that I can ACTUALLY stick to. And what’s the best way to stick to a resolution? Have somebody do it with you. In fact the more the merrier, so the bh team have decided to band together this year and have ‘beauty resolutions’. Simple, beauty related things that we know we should be doing, but often forget or simply don’t do…
“I have two! I would like to drink more water and floss. I'm so terribly bad at both and as an adult (and human), I think it's time to be better.” –bh’s Carli
“To not wait until my nail polish is chipped to re-polish” –bh’s Rachel
“To take care of my eyes! This means religiously wearing sunglasses when outdoors, using an anti-ageing eye cream every day and night, and popping on cooling eye masks when they're feeling tired, puffy and red.” –bh’s Annalise
“Exfoliate at least once a week! I love to self-tan, but am terribly lazy at prepping my skin beforehand and buffing it away once it wears off. I really need to get better before I turn into a streaky zebra.”- bh’s Sam
“To have a green smoothie at least once a week. bh's Cherie is always talking about how great they are for your health and skin and I want to benefit from more energy and glowing complexion in 2014.” –bh’s Vic
"I take really good care of my skin already, but in 2014 I want to stop using a mishmash of products that do all sorts of different things and focus on using products that actually target my skin issues. (Read: dehydration, first signs of ageing and pigmentation.)” –bh’s Cherie

Mine is to reduce sugar and eat more healthily for better skin. Also to take better care of my feet by exfoliating and using moisturiser.

I don't 'do' resolutions. My goals for beauty are pretty much the same as Carli. That is more water and to floss regularly. I am hoping I can justify buying the Phillips water floss. It looks like it might make it almost fun. My other goal is a regular sleep pattern. A very tough problem for a chronic insomniac with health issues who used to work shifts and mainly night shifts.

Mine was to stop procrastinating so much. I waste so much time, then complain about how busy I am :P It's silly!

to moisturise my body every day- and every night- to use eye cream every day and night instead of when i remember for both! And mainly to not buy products untill i use all the ones I have now!

To drink more water, eat more fruit through using my new blender to make smoothies, improve my posture, be better at applying sunscreen and get back into beauty blogging!

Me I do the same as last years, eat in moderation, enjoy a snack (chocolate) and don't feel guilty. Also keep a healthy weight all year, and go for a walk.
