Great minty taste
My husband and I both use this floss because we both enjoy the minty fresh taste.
The floss is a bit thicker than some of the other brands we have used and I find this does make the floss a bit stronger and less prone to shredding when I try and floss teeth that are closer together.
The floss just glides in between my teeth and easily removes any trapped food or plaque. As it’s thicker, it’s gentler on my gums and doesn’t cut into them.
The packaging is user friendly and I like the blue plastic container, the only improvement would be if it contained more floss!
I tend to stock up on this floss when I see it on promotion in the supermarket and Priceline quite often have 50% off.

Not Great Between Tight Teeth
I have some really close teeth and this dental floss just doesn't work well with them though it is okay with my teeth that have more space between them and aren't so tight. My tighter teeth seem to shred this once I do force the floss between them which is not a good feeling. So for me this floss isn't really great but it could be good if you have teeth that aren't too tight together. Good stars though for the fresh taste I get after using this.
I can see this could work well for some and not so well for others (like myself). I love a lot of Oral B products but this one's just not for me.

I became a floss addict after my last gum infections early this and after the 40 min teeth cleaning by my dentist, i determined to get my teeth floss every after meal. Its not because i didn't brush my teeth but it was because just brushing wasn't enough. This floss is very good, it is soft and have a mint taste, whenever i floss my teeth, i get that fresh mouth feeling and i can prevent plaque build up.

This floss is one of a few that I purchase. It comes in a neat blue plastic box with a flip cap. It releases a nice minty flavor while flossing, making flossing more tolerable.
The main reason I purchase this floss is because it is very strong. The most annoying thing is the floss snapping while flossing. However, I do not have that problem with this floss. Also, it is ridiculously cheap when purchased at half off.
I highly recommend this product.

Having done the rounds trying to find a good floss this is by the far best one. My favourite thing about this is the wider tape surface which is great at collecting what brushing can't reach. It is also very smooth so despite being wider, it never is difficult to weave in and out of each tooth. I find the thinner flosses just don't pick up anything and also hurt the gums but this one is very soft.
The packaging is also really cool, it has handy grips on the sides to make it easier to get the floss out and is very slimline.
For some reason it's not avaliable everywhere, I often have a hard time actually finding it in the supermarket or in stores so when I do find it I buy two or three so I don't run out. The last time I bought some was in a random Priceline that I never usually go to while the one closest to me never has it.

My regular floss
This floss is on the thicker side so if you like your skinny floss this won’t be for you.
I use this on one of my implants and it seemlessly slides between the teeth and over the top to give my implant a nice thorough clean.
The only thing I dislike about this dental floss though is that it does fray a little bit when there is too much friction - which is every floss. Not really a massive issue but you generally will get a hair thin break off piece stuck in your teeth if you’re not careful.

Recommended by my dentist
I have been pretty religious with my dental health since I was 4 and dental floss had always been part of the routine. This floss is waxed and easy to slide between my compact teeth. It also doesn’t fray because it is one solid wide band.
I had an accident with the Johnson and Johnson’s floss last year. This floss got stuck in between my premolars and chipped my tooth pretty bad. I did it gently but it frayed and pulled out possibly a filling or part of the tooth itself. My dentist recommended this and have just used this since. Won’t be switching any time soon.

I prefer this floss to the regular Oral B floss as it feels more gentle on gums and teeth. The floss is quite thick however I find it to work better than the regular Oral B floss. The floss is in a nice blue container with a flip top.
The floss has a minty taste however it is quite subtle. This floss keeps my teeth and gums clean and free of food. Very easy to use the floss and it is very gentle making it suitable for sensitive gums.

Best floss I've used!
I initially received a sample of this from my dentist in a goody bag. I wouldn't say I was excited to give it a try simply because I thought all floss was the same. I was wrong and I immediately went out to buy a full size of the Satin Tape!
What I like about this is that it's a little thicker than most other flosses on the market so it really gets in there and cleans around the teeth well. It doesn't fray and the floss itself is covered in a minty solution that refreshes your teeth which is great for if your flossing in between meals. I having been using this floss for about a month before brushing and I can visibly see a difference in the staining between my teeth which is amazing and just proves that this stuff is really doing its job. I also like the packaging, the lid closes really securely so you don't have to worry about the contents getting dirtied up. All around amazing product!
Use before brushing your teeth (as per recommended by my dentist).
Everyday use and anytime you need a good floss.

Best I've tried
This is a slightly thicker floss than a lot of other brands on the market, which seems to help prevent it cutting into the gums during use. This is great for my sensitive gums that bleed way too easily.
The taste is a fresh mint which helps to leave your mouth feeling clean all over. The flat shape of the floss helps it to move smoothly between the teeth, and it doesn't fray or split during use which is a big plus.
There is enough length in the packaging to last for some time, so no need to skimp on length for daily use.

I use this product every night after cleaning my teeth. I comes in a very hand pack. The lid open easily and clips shut. Very easy to pull out your desired length and cut off. I don't really notice a taste. It glides easily between your teeth. I have never had a problem with it fraying or coming apart. I like to keep one in my handbag for when food gets lodged between your teeth.
Pull out your required length and cut
Healthy gums and getting out lodged food.

A good dental floss
This was my go to floss before I had orthodontics. The packaging was attractive, a little blue flip top box, and the dispenser was easy to use and cut the required length. The taste was minty and pleasant.
I don't use this any more however, as I need to use interdental brushes with my fixed retainers, and on my molars I find it easier to use a flosser stick that you can replace the heads on. I still have this at home however and my husband and kids do use it.

Makes cleaning a breeze
This dental floss comes in a cute aqua-blue dispenser that is a good size for your handbag.
The floss itself is thin and flat and durable. It's satiny smoothe yet it's still easy to wind around your fingers and doesn't slip around like other waxed tapes. It really does glide between teeth giving them a good clean without irritating gums.
I like that this has a minty taste though I use this after brushing my teeth and my mouth is already pretty minty.
Overall this is a good quality dental floss that doesn't fray and cleans teeth easily without irritation.

The Award Goes to... DENTAL FLOSS!!!
Some dental flosses get me so mad because the layer around the floss comes off while i'm flossing my teeth! I though love this floss because of not only its minty taste, but also because of how amazing it works! The dental floss isn't rubbery and just slips right through each and every single tooth. The only bad thing about this dental floss is how its just way too small.

My preferred brand of dental floss - pay a little more for the tape
I've tried many different types of dental floss on the market, and my search was over when I discovered Oral-B's Satin Floss in the Stain Tape range. You pay a little more than the floss in this product range, yet the floss itself is slightly thicker, and therefore is able to get more of those food bits out in between your teeth. Excellent value for money, irrespective as to whether or not this product is on special. Although Colgate is my preferred brand of toothpaste at the moment, but Oral-B will be my preferred brand of dental floss for a while. Love the blue packaging too, a cute touch.
Ensure you have enough tape to floss every tooth on your bottom teeth, while also wrapping a bit of the floss around your fingers for a good grip. Repeat this process for the top teeth.
Those individuals who want to continue to look after their teeth.
Those who see their dentist twice a year for a quality check up and clean.
Those who want to invest a little more in a high quality dental floss.

Too thick for me
I've been a user of Oral B floss for many years but got a little sick of the fraying when ripping off desired amount for flossing, and sometimes between my teeth and decided that try the satin tape. I'm not a fan at all.
The tape is very thick and does remove well from the packaging and the subtle mint flavour is really nice. It's strong and easy to get a good grip of making it easy to use.
Unfortunately for me I have many overlapping teeth and most of them have fillings which narrows the gaps between teeth even more. Quite often I found the floss would get stuck between my teeth which meant a lot of tugging and pulling and concerning me that I would pull a filling loose.
I have stopped using it after a few days and returned to my usual style, but my husband is more than happy to continue using and has had no issues.
Not recommended for people with narrow gaps between teeth

Too Thick For Me
I recently decided to purchase this floss just for something different when my old floss ran out. It has a nice minty taste to it and the floss runs smoothly out of the container and is easy to cut off for each use. However I did find this floss a bit too thick to fit between my teeth comfortably. I am used to using a floss a bit thinner. On the plus side this makes for it being extremely strong and doesn't fray or slip around making it nice and easy to get a good grip onto it as you're flossing.
My view on this product is, if you have a bit of room between your teeth then this floss should work really well for you. Unfortunately for me it just made for an uncomfortable experience. Very appealing price though!

Floss that doesn't fray
This floss is strong, good width and has a minty flavour that is pleasant, without being overpowering. It is stronger than some other flosses I've used so it doesn't fray during use. Appealing package and easy to use. I like the way the floss container cuts the length of floss easily and stays where it was cut until next use. I've never had it break during use. I would recommend this to anyone with teeth close together. I feel it's good value.

See ya, halitosis!
See ya, halitosis!
What they claim:
Oral-B SATINfloss is made of a silky ribbon-like floss that wraps comfortably around fingers and slides smoothly between teeth for an elegant experience. Oral-B SATINfloss’s two-layered design effectively removes plaque and food particles to help prevent cavities, offering a simple and easy way to greatly improve the health of your teeth and gums.
•Has special ribbon-like fiber, helping it slide comfortably between teeth
•Is easy to insert and handle to help you reach even tight spots
•Lets you know it’s working by adding a burst of mint freshness
•Is gentle on gums and fingers for your comfort
Initial thoughts on viewing the product:
The container for this floss is seriously cute. I love the rounded edges and the blue colour. The container also has a great snap to the lock, but unfortunately it’s not the most secure. On the inside it has a built-in cutter which is a great feature. I know, I opened it and I couldn’t help it!
Thoughts on application:
So flossing with regular floss is a bit hard for me. I have a permanent retainer on my lower front teeth (but not the entire row), so finding a good floss is a tough gig for a gal who’s previously had braces. However, if you’ve ever had braces, it will seriously get you into a great dental routine! It’s either that or a terrible case of halitosis and fern teeth!
So, there are a couple of things to really love about this floss:
- It’s really smooth. There is nothing worse than using a floss that feels rough on your gums. This floss is like a tape and feels really satiny, just like in the name! Easy! The texture also makes it easy to glide between the teeth, so if you feel like you have a few teeth that are a bit on the tight side, this floss might be the one for you. Plus, because of said texture, this floss doesn’t cut your skin! Triple points!
- I love the minty hit! I personally love to use mouthwash before I brush my teeth (this is based on a conversation with my dentist), however I really start my dental routine by flossing and this floss makes your mouth feel really fresh. If you’ve had a particularly savoury meal (or something strong in flavour), this will help to regulate the saliva glands and lightly freshen your mouth without being overly aggressive. Remember, it’s the bits that are left in your mouth in conjunction with bacteria that starts our enemy halitosis!
The downside to this floss: it does have a tendency to shred a little bit if you use the same section of floss on a new area in the mouth. When it shreds, bits get stuck between the teeth and they are an absolute pain to get out (nothing worse than having that little something stuck in your mouth). So cut off plenty! Don’t stint!
Don’t be shy in cutting off what you need. Adult teeth are things you want to keep (them, and therefore a great smile, brain cells and good friends). If you cut your floss too short, you’re just going to have to cut more anyway, so don’t stint.
Lovers of pearly whites and minty fresh breath.

This tooth rope doesn't fray
Got razor sharp teeth but your room's a little crowded? Floss away, create more space. This stuff doesn't get caught on your teeth and get all cut up, making you search for more. Strong like leather, not satin.
