4 fast ways to whiten your teeth

What is the ultimate beauty must-have? Some say it’s amazing hair. Others would suggest it’s perfect make-up. Many would even propose it’s beautifully bronzed pins. But I disagree.
What makes for a picture-perfect beauty look is this: a mega-watt smile. Yes, a cheeky – but wonderfully pretty – grin. And considering white teeth play a large role in making us feel confident about our smirk, now is the time to start working on your pearly whites...
4 FAST WAYS TO WHITEN YOUR TEETH
#1. Start using at-home whitening strips now
Yes, now! These oh-so-simple to use strips require one to be diligent with application, so start your treatment now and you’ll see great results by the time you hit the track. Try using CleverWhite Dissolving Whitening Strips twice a day for the next four weeks for impressive whitening results. Just be sure to dab your teeth with a tissue before applying – illuminating any dampness will help the strips adhere better to your teeth.
#2. Buy a blue-red lipstick
Bright lipstick doesn’t just make you look sexy and glamorous in a fabulous frock – it has the ability to make your choppers look wonderfully white, too. Just make sure you steer clear of brown-reds, though. Only a red lipstick with blue undertones has the power to counteract the yellow in your teeth, making them appear whiter than they actually are. We love: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Fire & Ice and M.A.C Lipstick in Ruby Woo.
#3. Brush after every meal with a whitening toothpaste
If you’re like most people, you’ll brush your teeth in the morning and evening. But if you want to give your teeth whitening efforts a little push up the toosh, brush after each time you eat. Don’t give those nasty teeth-staining foods the chance to even think about discolouring your teeth, OK? We love Sensodyne Iso-active® Whitening for those with sensitive chompers, and Macleans Extreme Clean White Toothpaste for those whose teeth are a little less delicate.
#4. Think twice about what you put in your mouth
Yep, it’s time to lay off those known culprits such as coffee, tea, soft drink and red wine. But you’ll also be surprised to hear that berries, nuts, soy sauce, tomato sauce, liquorice and beetroots should also be avoided. They may taste delicious, but they’ll only do bad things for your dazzlingly white smile.

I have whitened my teeth at the dentist before. It was awful and I wouldn't do it again.

I would rather protect my enamel than use whitening products.

I use a whitening, enamel protect tooth paste. This is the only form of whitening I've ever done

I have naturally discoloured teeth and it's depressing. I've tried many whitening toothpastes to no avail. Still thinking about veneers.

I have tired whitening tooth pastes don't really work on my teeth, I would love beautiful white teeth, but I guess the only way that it will happen is if I save up and get them done professionally. Not sure about the whitening strips though do they really work.

I'm a coffee and red wine drinker which doesn't go down too well with my teeth! Have a dental check and teeth cleaning twice a year (overdue for my latest dental check!) which takes care of staining. Loathe to use any whitening products (other than whitening toothpaste which I don't think does much) as one of my front teeth is a crown and scared all my other teeth would go fluoro white!

I was lucky enough to get some CleverWhite Teeth Whitening Strips through beautorium, so plan to use them before a special occasion coming up when I'll need my pearly whites to be pearly white.

I always want whiter teeth. I use whitening toothpaste and brush regularly and limit my coffee, ok maybe I don't do that last bit, I neeeeeed that stuff! One day I will get them professionally done, I think that's the easiest way.

One word - photoshop! Brushing teeth with a whitening toothpaste all the time, let alone after every meal, is very bad for your enamel. I would love to have super white teeth but mine are sensitive and I was specifically told not to overdo it with the whitening. So in the meantime photoshop is a great tool to get that look ;)

I noticed a difference after using whitening toothpaste but now it seems like the effects have worn out. The strawberry tip doesn't seem to work that much for me :s
