Lip Balm SPF 50+ Reviews

SunSense Lip Balm SPF 50+ I love to use all year around to protect my lips from drying out. It leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth. Its a good sun protection SPF50. It applies well and the tube contains alot of product. You only have to use a small amount. It glides easy onto the lips. It doesn't have a fragrance. It contains vitamin e and cocoa butter.

I bought this before a beach holiday. I'm incredibly pale, and in my childhood I got surnburned so severely that I developed a horrific cold sore (yes, you can get them from the sun) which has made me pedantic about sun protection - including on the lips - ever since.
I hadn't found a formula I liked until this one.
It is super moisturising, but not greasy, and provides great hydration and gloss. The formula is so good I'd consider it even without the SPF, though at times the SPF is what I need.
If I'm going to be spending prolonged period in the sun, I even rub this just by the corners of my eyes, and it makes it a little shiny there, but is so gentle it doesn't irritate the skin. Also I don't mind if I smear this a little over my lip lines, as having that protection is a good way to ward off ingrained lines around the mouth from sun damage.
This is one of my happiest budget holy grail items, and because it's great value I can have one in a few places so I don't forget.

I was really happy with this product! It is so good to prevent sunburn while nourishing my lips and then extra good to apply when I did get sunburnt (i forgot to put it on!)
This lip balm is encouraging on many levels:

+Clearly prints the product date and expiry date (good stuff to know)
+Has a UVA rating for four stars ('superior')
+The texture isn't super sticky (a pet hate of mine)

Apart from this being an amazing SPF50+ protector, the product is absolutely amazing.

It's not runny at all and not too thick, and it spreads out evenly and simply. It also adds a really nice shine to your lips without it being sticky, and also keeps your lips super soft.

I use this twice a day, and find that it keeps my lips moisturised for half a day at a time at least.

I use lip balm regularly. It is one product that I won't do without especially in our climate that tends to be dry.

This product is packaged in a tube with a screw top lid. It is a white semi-soft balm that can be directly applied to the lips using the tube as the tube top is slanted. I like the fact that this balm contains SPF50+ as it is the only lip balm I own with such a high sun protection factor. The balm is tasteless and applies as a film on my lips which keeps them soft and moisturised for hours. I notice that I don't have to reapply the lip balm unless it has been rubbed off in the process of eating and drinking and that's a wonderful plus for me.
I always keep a tube of this product in my handbag and at $7.95 for a 15ml tube, I certainly think it's worth it.

I am one who cares a lot about protecting my face by using SPF containing skin care products so I'm delighted that I now have a lip balm too that contains SPF50+ as well.

When applied to my lips it felt creamy and nourishing like it could last for hours. Which it did. Surprising this is much better than much of my other lip balms that I own, and unlike my other lip balms this works well at protecting my lips from sun damage. I will definitely be repurchasing this product, as its a great feel and great protection from the weather.

This is my first SPF50 sunscreen, I've been using a different brand, it's a sunscreen stick, SPF 30 and a little waxy. I've been on the hunt for something different ever since. So glad I came across this product. It's a little greasy, but great for dry lips and offers excellent protection. The product is easy to apply with a glide on applicator.

This is quite a good lip balm. I love that it not only has SPF but quite a high sun protection at 50+. The balm itself is a lot more thicker than other balms I've tried but leaves your lips smooth and leaves a nice gloss sheen.
