Anti-Ageing Face Matte SPF 50+ Reviews

I love Summer, but that is also the season where your makeup slides, shifts and basically melts off your face. While this may not prevent it, it may certainly give you a head start on staying matte and not converting into a giant shine monster!

This bottle contains 100 ml of product and has a screw cap that is easy to remove. The lotion itself is fairly liquidy and is said to have an invisible tint finish, which would explain why the lotion does look quite pale beige.

This gets absorbed quite well, and certainly doesn't look streaky under my makeup. I have also found this to have, as advertised, a bit of a matte finish, but doesn't leave you looking cakey.

Overall, I really like this product!

Wonderfully light & non-greasy! This very high SPF50 lotion goes on like a dream - it's quite runny so it's very easy to spread. There's no dragging or rubbing which is great! Even though it's runny, it still thoroughly moisturises my skin (I have dry, dehydrated and normal areas of my face that need proper moisturisation). It sinks in almost straight away. It goes clear, as it claims to, straight away on applying it to my face but it looks a tinted opaque colour at first onto my finger. So I would call it barely tinted as it doesn't look that way on my skin - it really does become invisible on the face.

I'm so glad and impressed that Sunsense have brought out this anti-ageing formula in a matte finish! Yayhooo! Not many company's think of doing an anti-ageing lotion in a matte! So thankyou Sunsense for this because I am 46 with an oily T zone and it's hard to find something anti-ageing that is also mattifying.

It doesn't really have a scent - I can't smell anything. It's oil-free and non-comedogenic. I'll be definitely buying this over and over as it has lots of great ingredients and ticks so many of my boxes for this type of product. My skin specialist said the only way I'd get keep future sunspots/age-spots at bay was to use a very high SPF50 and she handed me this product to try.

i've been looking for a UV protectant for my face for AGES and came across this one. I found that when I applied it, it gave my face a really greasy look. I assumed that it would look more matte but I had to use a tissue to blot off the excess before it looked matte. Also, the product really stung my cheeks for at least 5 minutes afterwards (I have rosacea), but I guess my skin is just extra sensitive and it does say on the packaging that it gives a stinging sensation when applied. It also smelled a little sour at first, but then the smell went away. Overall it seemed to do the job, but the application wasn't pleasant. I wear a tinted moisturiser everyday, and the great thing about this product was that it wasn't too greasy. It is a really light weight formula and so easy to apply. I did feel a mild tingle as I applied it the first couple of times (as the packaging says you might), but nothing discomforting and after I had worn it a couple of times that feeling went away.

This was really nice to put on by itself on the weekends, giving a light coverage and the SPF protection.

I always wear sunscreen under my normal make-up and this one fit the bill perfectly! I was very impressed that it's SPF30 as so often facial moisturisers only have SPF15. Even though the label says that "a temporary stinging" may occur after application, I barely felt this. The consistency of the product was thin (but not so thin that it ran everywhere) and very easy to apply. In terms of the invisible tint aspect, well, invisible is definitely the word! It's more like a sheer gloss. I didn't mind this but it does exclude this product from being worn alone if you're looking for a bit of colour without wearing any make-up. The downside was that it wasn't as moisturising as I'd hoped, I guess it is just purely a sunscreen. I also didn't notice any obvious anti-aging effects. Perhaps prolonged use would see some benefits in this regard but on the plus side the tint didn't sit in any wrinkles and make them way more obvious either. Would I get this again? Yes I would. I think it'd be great for those summer days where you don't want to wear any make-up at all but still want just a hint of a glow.

The only thing I found favourable with this product was the sun and UV protection. Though the smooth and fluid texture made
application easy, it wasn't readily absorbed into my skin (slightly better absorption when skin is damp but isn't this the case with other moisturisers?). If I use a toner beforehand, I find that it leaves a shiny finish (contrary to the matte finish it promises). Unfortunately, it only comes in one light shade, which didn't do anything in terms of coverage. It doesn't have a full ingredient list either, only the actives were listed. I will not say the price is good because I feel I have wasted good money.

I have been using this product for over a month and will not be repurchasing.

I like this tinited sunscreen lotion as it's very wearable for summer worn alone or with a powder on top. I also like the flexibility of this product as I can mix this product with my Chanel Vitalumiere fluid foundation and it gives me a nice colour for winter wear. I would definitely re-purchase this product and the fact that it's quite affordable. I also love their packaging and the gold lid. I am a sunscreen advocate and love that this product combines both a tint and sunscreen.

The downside is that this product specificially is hard to locate in stores compared to their other products.

This product is great for everyday. Feels like you aren't wearing makeup at all but provides a nice light coverage.
