Face of Australia

Kmart’s currently having a $3 off FOA products right now (till Nov. 21st), so it’s a great time to try some of their products 🙂

I’ve been reading (on a few places) that their primer is absolutely brilliant – one of the best you can buy and around $12. definitely going to check it out

BH doesn’t have Face of Australia on here as one of it’s Beauty Brands and I’m really interested in trying out some of their foundations but would like to read a few reviews before I do, although its cheap so it wouldnt totally be a waste but im sick of buying products and using them once or twice. Has anyone tried FOA foundations? Any of them? I use their tinted moisturiser and really like it thats why Im interested in their foundations.

I’ve tried the liquid foundation from FOA. It’s a good first foundation as it’s easy to apply and pretty easy to find the right shade. It’s not the best, but it’s good for its price.

I’ve never tried their makeup but I love their nail polish remover. I know this seems a bit odd, but it doesn’t dry out my nails and the colour comes off really easily

Can’t comment on the foundation because I have never used it but if the lipsticks are anything to go by then may be a disappointment….I have tried the lipsticks a couple of times and found them not to be long lasting and easily wipe off.

Anyone tried the liquid mineral foundation yet? if so how was it? how does it wear and what kind of coverage does it have?

I just received a free FOA mineral blush the other week. I haven’t opened it yet though. It looks great though and I will be using it very soon.

I too have used Face of Australia many times and have also been quite impressed given the fantastic prices.

both FOA and NP have exactly the same ingredients. the FOA one has a slightly higher water content which works out to be more hydrating for your skin. Yes it doesn’t have the scent as the NP one but… for about a 10th of the price it doesn’t seem worth paying all that extra money.

With the sale on at Priceline i purchased the new mineral foundation. haven’t tried it yet but the consistency felt really nice when i tested it. I got Honey Beige, summer so my skin has tanned a little. I colour matched it to my chest so i’ll have even matching coverage on my face and not look pale and washed out.
Anything has to be better then that Maybelline 24hr stay foundation. thats its just CRAP!

I’ll see how i go with the foundation and review it back here if anyone is interested.

That’s a shame you didn’t like the 24 hour maybelline foundation. I absolutely love it. It really suits my skin. I also love the conceale to match.

i have tried 1 -2 things from FOA and i am a fan 🙂 great price point too!
