Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse Reviews

This is by far the best self-tanner I've ever used. I love that it's express, as I hate leaving tanning product on over night. I usually leave it on for 3 hours, which gives a dark but nicely coloured, even tan. It applies really well as it doesn't dry quite as quickly as other products, and never leaves any streaks or patches. It's a bit more expensive than similar products, but is for sure worth the money.

I am one of those people that live my life with a 'white shorts & t.shirt' tanned on. I wear sunscreen but I get the typical clothing tan, it's annoying. When I want to wear a dress or tank there is my 'white t.shirt'.
Sadly I am also absolutely hopeless at fake tanning. Even in salon I'll smudge, run or somehow just generally stuff up my tan. At home I turn out more like a zebra than a bronzed goddess, yes, it's has always been my beauty nemeses.

Until now. Enter St Tropez Self Tan Express.
By the grace of the beauty goddesses, I came to have my very own can of this little gem and it has changed my fortunes in the self tan game.
I applied this on a whim, I hadn't even exfoliated properly but decided I had a rare hour up my sleeve so I should try it.
The result after one hour was seemless, subtle and a great colour.

The product comes out as a mousse type foam, it smooths evenly and it absorbs quickly. So I cruised around the house, did some jobs and showered after an hour.
My skin felt good, soft, hydrated and lightly tanned. What I really appreciated was the light odour profile. It's not heavy and sour like many fake tans and it didn't linger on my skin after I showered.

I am really pale, and leave this tan on for 3-4 hours, it turns a beautiful dark colour that looks natural and lasts for about 3-4 days with no maintenance. It fades really well and doesnt go patchy, it gradually loses colour which isi great if i want to top it up before it's completely faded.

I'm not a regular user of tanning products but trying this product changed my mind about using them, the bottle itself is a pretty blue plastic with an easy to use pump applicator. To begin with I exfoliated all over. Then moisturized all the dry areas like elbows, knees and feet just before applying the mousse. So you add a couple of pumps of mousse and gently rub on in circular motions with the St Tropez applicator, and lightly go over the dry areas with at the end with a very small amount of mousse, then wash your hands and rinse out the applicator with cold water (don't use hot water or it melts the sponge applicator which I did, whoops)
So you leave the product on for 1-3 hours, 1 hour for a sun kissed glow, 2 for a golden tan and 3 for a dark bronze, for me I did the 1 hour tan. After that time you just rinse the excess off and pat dry. I did this at night so showered again in the morning, there was a slight tan smell in the morning but nowhere near as bad as some other products and it goes away after a shower in the morning.
In the morning my tan was really nice! I'm so happy with the results it's not orange, patchy and it doesn't dry my skin like other products that put me off tanning.
It's been 4 days now and the tan is still looking amazing, even my boyfriend said he really likes it and he usually isn't a fan of fake tan. I would definitely buy this in the future and recommend it to family and friends.
