Allison Williams

Girls star Allison Williams revealed to Allure that she developed cystic acne as an adult, while shooting the hit HBO series. Cystic acne is the most severe form of acne and can often lead to scarring if not treated properly. Luckily, Allison was able to treat her condition with the prescription drug, Accutane.

To control oil, Mindy revealed she uses Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser, and for her pigmentation she uses SK-II products.

Kim Kardashian West

Kim Kardashian West has spoken candidly about her struggle with psoriasis for the last few years. What started out as a small spot on her leg, has now spread all over her body and face. She recently shared with Poosh that the condition is now affecting her joints and causing psoriatic arthritis in her hands. Unfortunately, Kim has yet to find a treatment that works. She developed a body foundation this year which was inspired by her struggle.

Mama Mia star Amanda Seyfried experiences hormonal acne, which she says often stems from stress. She cleared it up by finding techniques for relaxation and using Clé de Peau products. She also says getting older has helped.

America’s Next Top Model star Winnie Harlow was born with vitiligo, a condition that causes the skin to lose pigmentation. The model’s been very vocal about self-acceptance, recently clapping back at those who label her as ‘suffering’ from the condition, saying “Do I look like I’m suffering?”. We’re so here for it.

 

Solange Knowles

Apparently Solange Knowles sporadically breaks out in hives, including on her wedding day! Luckily the singer was a great sport and even posted a (now deleted) paparazzi shot of her on the big day with hives all over her face and neck, captioning it: “ “My favorite (and most true to myself) selfie lol.”
