Poppy King at kit Cosmetics

On Saturday, I went to my local Kit Cosmetics store as Poppy King was there promoting her latest range of lipsticks and cosmetics. When I got there, there was a queue where you waited to be seated, and a Kit makeup artist was there to consult with you on Poppy King lipsticks, lipglosses and blushes and Poppy King was there herself to ‘read your lips’ i.e, she gave you advice on what colours suited you best. Poppy was pretty friendly and the lipstick colours were gorgeous. I ended up buying the lip and cheek tint called Oxymoron ‘Honest Politician’ but will have to get the Sinner lipstick in Wine next time. Has anyone else tried the Poppy King products?

    I would love to go there.Maybe this weekend Ill go to doncaster and have a look.Poppy has those stay on lipsticks which I admire too.

    I booked an appointment with Poppy King but missed the appointment! and it was the last one of the day, eeek, I held her up!!!

    Poppy King is such a great inspiration ! i love her range . a little expensive for me !

    Glad you enjoyed it Goddessmagick. I thought Poppy King was fairly approachable, nice to see that even though she has made it big she still spends time talking to customers!

    Thanx 4 the info Eastgirl4, I went today to the sydney Myer one with Poppy at Kit. I didn`t have her pick my colour etc as i`m trying to restrain myself from buying anything atm (trying the key word!) but it was fun 2 c her in real life doing what she does best- lipsticks!

    I know Hooha! I`m keen to try it too! And Lancome has one as well. I don`t think it would suit me, but I`d definitely like to test it out!!! Except my skin is definitely not pale! xoxo

    I am keen to try the black lipgloss from Poppy King, it sounds like it might be a unique product. Must be my inner goth coming out. 🙂
