Your essential wedding day survival guide

Your wedding is a wonderful occasion. One of the most special days in your life. But that’s not to say that it’s an easy road to the big day – not only do you have to worry about booking the perfect venue, photographer, videographer, and caterer, but you also have to deal with things like your dress, your bridesmaids and their dresses, your shoes, your hair, your make-up, your nails, your tan, your…well, everything really.
So it’s pretty safe to say that you’ll probably be quite frazzled in the weeks leading up to your wedding day. And since nobody likes a stressed-out Bridezilla, you might want to try these things to ensure that you’re nothing but cool, calm and collected as you walk down the aisle towards your future hubby:
A week before the big day
Treat yourself to a long, relaxing facial. The kind that lasts an hour and a half and makes you almost fall asleep you’re so relaxed. The Langham Sydney offers an incredibly indulgent Babor Organic Glacier Facial that not only makes you feel like all your worries are melting away, but it also uses chilled crystals from the Swiss Alps to regenerate and renew your skin cells and leave your complexion completely clear, radiant, and rejuvenated. There’s not a shred of doubt you won’t walk out feeling like a new woman with skin that glows like a thousand suns.
Note: We really recommend doing this a week or two before your wedding in case the facial helps bring any toxins from under your skin onto the surface, in which case you’ll need the time for any spots to heal.
A couple of days before the big day
Feeling a little tense in the neck and back? Is your mind completely overrun with wedding details? It sounds like you’re in need of a full-body massage that will help ease any tension and calm your senses, too. CHI, The Spa CHI Balance massage is all about helping you find clarity and peace of mind while relaxing and calming your body. It’s the perfect way to de-stress and find your inner…err…chi before your big day.
On the big day
Hooray, your wedding day has arrived! You’re probably feeling all kinds of nervous and excited. And because we would really hate for anything to go wrong, we have a few suggestions of what you can have on hand to make sure your day goes smoothly:
1. Dove Clinical Protection Anti-Perspirant Deodorant – it’ll protect you from odour and excessive sweating for 48-hours, while making sure your underarms are soothed and nourished.
2. Coverplast Blister patches – new shoes often mean new blisters, and these nifty patches will help relieve the pain from any that crop up throughout the day.
3. Jane Iredale Blotting Paper – remove any shine without ruining your fabulous wedding day make-up.
What things would you do to relax before your wedding day? Did you have a stressful few weeks before your wedding?

Great tips and i did follow some of these when i married. And i found that staying with my braid maids the night before was great, and we all headed off to the beauty salon together. And it was almost like a production line as one was getting something done than the others where getting other things done. And it turned out was a great day

The photo with this is really funny - I hope none of our girls are being married next weekend - that photo could send them into overdrive before they read the great tips.

I remember being nervous on the day of the wedding but the lead up to the big day was kind of stress free. I think because I just had my sister as a bridesmaid and only invited 80 people. I think I had more stress throughout the marriage :-/

I took time to have a salon expert help me get my skin really hydrated for the big day. It was just what I needed. My skin was much better after I took her advice. I remember being so happy about everything and I was so relaxed about everything too - maybe too relaxed!
