Jennifer Aniston’s Smoothie Recipe Is Easy And Delicious

Jennifer Aniston isn’t the most active celeb on Instagram, so when she does decide to post it’s usually for good reason. And the latest video detailing the recipe for her “favourite” smoothie did not disappoint.

The 52-year-old actress, who hasn’t aged a day since first hitting our TV screens back in 1994, has previously credited happiness and hydration as the two driving forces behind her skin’s youthful glow. But it looks like the anti-ageing heavy-hitter, collagen (specifically the Vital Proteins Chocolate Collagen Peptides, $86.97 at iHerb) might be the third factor at play.

After announcing her new role in 2020 as the Chief Creative Officer of wellness brand Vital Proteins, Jen revealed that she’s been a long-time advocate for “nourishing your wellness from within”, and as a result had begun incorporating collagen into her diet “so many years ago.”

Accompanying the chocolate-flavoured collagen (which is praised for its benefits in skin, nail, bone and gut health), Jen also throws in other superfoods and antioxidants like matcha powder, cinnamon, cherries and spinach to her nutrient-dense smoothie.

  1. I got the Dose and Co Collagen Creamer in Vanilla half price at Coles. A little goes into my morning coffee. Must say I love the sound of the strawberry/watermelon one mentioned and will probably try it.

  2. The shake sounds pretty healthy and good, except for the stevia. She looks stunning but I think the part about where she hasn’t aged since 1994 is a bit of a stretch. She looks a lot different than she did back then, but not old and could definitely pass for her early 40’s.

  3. Can’t say I add collagen to my smoothies when I have them. Have tried several collagen & “glow”-type supplements in the past & none of them have got on well with my gut, so I avoid them. Don’t really know if any of them make that much of a difference anyway.

  4. I don’t do smoothies; but I do do collagen. I take a Natures Way Beauty Collagen supplements everyday. Collagen doesn’t just help my 57 year old skin look a lot younger it also helps my bones and joints.
