Chrissy Teigen tells how she gets such clear skin

When it comes to celeb beauty envy, Chrissy Teigen’s probably my fiercest fixation (in a non-creepy way).
She’s got incredible hair, a bangin’ honeyed bod, is married to singer/songwriter John Legend and she’s also now pregnant (presumably with the cutest bub ever).
And while the 29-year-old has a rather inspiring appreciation for her beauty flaws, she also has the most perfectly clear skin ever. Hmmpf.

I hear you saying: “she’s a celebrity...of course she does,” but as we have learned, being a celeb does not automatically equal amazing skin.
This brings me to Teigan’s recent interview with allure.com, wherein the model revealed her key contributors for clear skin (La Mer isn't one of them):
"I believe good skin starts in your gut, but sometimes the mere change of me juicing or eating 'clean' can make my skin act up, too. Don't over-wash, invest in a great moisturiser, and drink plenty of water."
But, she concedes, “It's different for everyone.”
Which is where things like genetics, getting good beauty sleep and even choosing the right make-up products come into the equation.
But when it comes to diet, what’s Chrissy’s go-to, skin-loving recipe (not that we want to copy or anything!)?
"Seared scallops on a bed of whatever veggies I have - sautéed canned sweet corn, bell peppers, and onions - ten-minute meal."
*Drools*
If I’m being honest, I can’t say I usually have seared scallops handy – but I reckon you could easily swap them for a bit of pan-fried fish.
If Chrissy’s healthy recipe is making you feel rather peckish, you’ll be pleased to know the beauty’s got a cookbook in the works.
Here’s what she had to say about it:
"I had the most fun developing the recipes and making sure they would satisfy the most people possible.
Giving classic dishes a Chrissy spin was really, really fun – I believe every single part of a dish should have a ton of flavour and be able to stand on its own.
Like how boiled, lame chicken breast is always atop Caesar salad? Screw that. Every bite matters!"
As if Chrissy’s food philosophy weren’t alluring enough, the star also teased her fans with a cheeky beauty confession.
When asked if any part of her beauty routine would surprise people, she said: "I enjoy plucking more than just eyebrows."
I’ll leave it to you guys to mull over just what she’s plucking.
Do you like the sound of Chrissy Teigen’s cookbook? What other celebs do you look to for beauty and health inspo?

Drink plenty of filtered water and herbal teas, eat and drink antioxidant rich stuff, and oil pull. Sleep well and also use quality cleansers and moisturisers.

Her skin is just unreal and she's so much prettier than I realised because I've only seen pictures of her all made up, she looks better without makeup.
Also those scallops are making me hungry.

I would rather buy a cookbook that is written by a professional chef.

She has an amazing glow, I have changed my diet this year but must admit I still have the occasional binge. Not too sure if there's a huge improvement in my skin as of yet but there certainly is improvement.

I wonder how accessible her recipes will be to the every day person? I don't look to celebs for health advice because I don't follow trends nor do I think many actually know what they're talking about.

I don't look to celebrities for beauty inspiration. I am more inspired by celebrities that contribute towards humanity, charity work etc.
