Is hot wax or cold wax better to use?
When it comes to different beauty methods, there are always two sides to the story. What suits one person may not necessarily work for another, and the beautyheaven team definitely do not always agree. Take waxing, for example. bh’s Carli prefers to use hot wax in the form of Veet EasyWax™ Electrical Roll-on Kit for her hair removal needs, as she finds it versatile and easy to use. But bh’s Sam would much rather use Veet EasyGrip™ Ready to Use Wax Strips Sensitive so that she can wax in a flash and dispose of the evidence just as fast. Hear both of their arguments in the video above or check out their point of views below. Their experiences might help you to work out which method is right for you!
bh’s Carli says:
“I love how this device heats the wax up to the exact right temperature. I don’t have to waste my time warming up each wax strip - I can just turn the device on then go and do my washing or have a cup of tea while it works its magic.
Once it’s warm, it’s so easy to use. The roller head design means the wax glides straight onto my skin, without any mess. The design is also really handy for beginners, because instead of dealing with a big wax strip, you can just cut the strips that come in the kit to size, then wax sections bit by bit.”
bh’s Sam says:
“I’m incredibly lazy so cold wax strips are a godsend. They’re so quick and easy to use - I simply rub them between my hands, pull them apart and I’m ready to wax! Once I’m finished, all I have to do is fold them over and pop them in the bin.
The best thing about using cold wax? I don’t have to wait for the wax to heat up, or worry about burning myself. And I love the fact that I don’t have to let my legs go until they’re super hairy, because the strips work on the shortest of hairs.
Plus, I can easily take them with me when travelling. No hairy holiday legs!”
Have you tried the Veet EasyWax™ Electrical Roll-on Kit or the Veet EasyGrip™ Ready to Use Wax Strips? Which do you prefer?
