beautyheaven says:

The Schick Hydro Silk Touch Up offers a pack of three dermaplaning disposable facial razors designed to expertly shape eyebrows, gently exfoliate and remove fine hairs.

Due to a previous lack of success with facial razors, several Trial Team members were hesitant to try the Schick Hydro Silk Touch Up. However, after only one use, members found the lightweight razors were easy to use and a game-changing addition to their beauty routine.

Praised for their slim design, members found the razors were able to smoothly navigate the hairline, eyebrows, cheek area and lip, for precise and effective removal of peach fuzz – and all without running the risk of cutting or nicking the skin.

Impressed with the amount of hair and dead skin removed in as little as one session, Trial Team members found their skin care products absorbed with greater efficiency and makeup glided on with ease following use of the razors.

While some members expressed concern that facial shaving may result in hair growing back thicker and more rapidly, the worry was quickly squashed when regrowth proved indifferent. In fact, members voiced that this hair removal method was now their preferred option over threading or waxing due to the convenience, affordability and painlessness.

Members praised Schick for the inclusion of the precision blade covers, which prevents the sharp razors from getting too close to areas like the eyebrows, leaving no room for error and helping to prevent any cuts.

Trial Team participants were widely impressed by their newfound smooth and glowing skin. The majority voiced their enthusiasm to continue using the product at the commencement of trial.

“The blade is really sharp which is something that I appreciate, as I find that I can get irritated when using tools that are not sharp and need multiple strokes. I used the tools with some light lotion on my face (to avoid friction with my skin) and the peach fuzz that came off was incredible – who knew I even had that much hair on my face!” – CoconutRough, read more reviews here…

“I love this product! It is easy to use and leaves a very smooth finish. I have been using it to shape my brows and on my upper lip and it is very precise and leaves a smooth finish, much better than using tweezers. I have sensitive skin and this product does not aggravate my skin and doesn’t give me bumps or hives, which is great!” – Vikkilala,  read more reviews here…

“This product is super user friendly, durable and pleasant to use. I have permanently switched to Schick for facial razors now! These razors are equally effective for dermaplaning (which I hadn’t tried before but am now in love with!) and for touch ups on unwanted facial hair around he upper lip, chin and brow.” – NellAdams, read more reviews here…

“I highly recommend this to anyone who would want a smoother complexion when applying some make up or if you want your skin care to be absorbed nice and well. Overall I would re purchase this product if I run out of it!” -cdangbeauty, read more reviews here…

  1. I found this really interesting. I feel like I have a lot of peach fuzz on my face but I’ve always been torn as to whether to leave it or shave it. I’ve rad it’s better for your skin and makeup application to shave it but I don’t know if it will help my acne and rosacea or make it worse. It’s tough trying to weigh up the pros and cons but this trial team definitely gives me something to think about.

  2. Some years ago I trialled Schick razor which was really great. Since then I have tried a variety of disposable ones and not happy. All women’s razors are so expensive compared to men’s razors.
