Heard of Orangetheory Fitness? If you haven’t yet, you’re about to – the workout recently landed in Australia and is set to take the country by storm. Founded in the USA, some amazing Orangetheory Fitness results have seen the workout develop a cult following, much like F45 Training. But apart from the devoted fans and high intensity interval exercises, that’s where the similarities between the two fitness franchises end.

Backed by scientific research, Orangetheory Fitness is a one hour group workout where each attendee wears a heart rate monitor to track their heart rate and calorie burn. The aim is to keep your heart rate at a specific level throughout the exercises (the ‘Orange Zone’) which can have your body burning calories for up to 36 hours after the class finishes. The classes are adaptable for all fitness levels, with a mix of cardio and strength exercise to maximise your workout. So if you’re wanting to lose weight, gain strength or tighten and tone your body, Orangetheory Fitness is definitely one to check out.

Curious to see what all the fuss was about, bh’s Kate and Nadine headed to Orangetheory Fitness Bondi Junction to give it a go. So if you’re wondering exactly what goes down in an Orangetheory workout, we’ve got you covered. Did we make it through the whole session? And what were our Orangetheory Fitness results? Watch the video above to find out.
