Share your #IDIDIT moment and win with The Athlete's Foot

Exercise: you either love it or you hate it. That’s just the way it goes, really. But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how you feel about it – regular exercise is still one of the best things you can do to keep your body happy, healthy and in shape.
That said, how often have you been moving your body lately? Has your fitness routine gone to shreds during the colder months? If you need a little nudge to help get you off the couch and back pounding the pavement, consider the new #IDIDIT campaign from The Athlete’s Foot (TAF) the motivation you’ve been searching for…
What is #IDIDIT, and how can I get involved?
It’s a flashy new campaign from TAF that encourages us all to find our perfect shoe fit in-store, before tackling a running challenge – be it a public running event or an intense session on the treadmill – and then showing off our achievements on Instagram and Twitter using the #IDIDIT hashtag.
Each week TAF team will reward the most creative #IDIDIT post with a new pair of shoes from their vast range of footwear, which will be fitted in-store by one of their many fitting experts. So, go get fitted, start running and post away – a free pair of perfectly fitted footwear is impatiently waiting for you to take them home.
Wait, what if I’m not a runner?
That’s OK – we’re not all natural born runners. But if you’re keen on becoming one, though, The Fit Zone on TAF’s website is full of nifty tips, tricks and training guides to get you on your way. However, if running is definitely not your thing, why not push your limits with another type of fitness challenge? If you post your exercise experience on social media using the #IDIDIT hashtag, you’ll still be in the running for the weekly prize. So, why not take up boxing, skipping, hiking or a spin class – anything goes!
Why should I set my own fitness goal and share my #IDIDIT moments?
There are many reasons, really. For starters, doing so not only allows you to challenge yourself and up your fitness levels before bathing suit season hits, but it also helps you to inspire others going through the challenge, too. Oh, and then there’s that amazing – not to mention free – pair of running shoes waiting for you in-store at The Athlete’s Foot.

beautyheaven’s #IDIDIT fitness goals
Yep, we’re getting involved and setting ourselves a fitness challenge, so be sure to check out the beautyheaven Instagram account to see our #IDIDIT snaps as we tackle them over the next six to eight weeks.
“I’m attempting to cycle to work every day – from Bondi to Rozelle – whatever the weather. I’m hoping this will improve my fitness so I can work towards completing a triathlon later in the year.” – bh’s Vic
“I’m endeavouring to walk more often than I currently do, as well as practise yoga more at home.” – bh’s Di
“I’m hoping to go for a one-hour walk each and every day. I always feel so good when I do it, so the goal is to take it from my current schedule of two or three times a week to seven.” – bh’s Olivia
“I’m aiming to skip three mornings of the working week.” – bh’s Carli
“I’m attempting to shake off the dust on my Fitness First membership and attend a gym class twice a week. This may be starting small, but hopefully in a few month’s time this good habit will lead to three or four sessions a week instead.” – bh’s Cherie
“I’m going to run the Centennial Park circuit (in Sydney) twice a week!” – bh’s Annalise
Oh, and one more thing…
Are your running shoes looking a little worse for wear? Or maybe they no longer provide the support and comfort they once did? Then I suggest you head into The Athlete’s Foot and get properly fitted – they are the experts after all. It doesn’t matter what type of exercise you need them for – walking, running, spin class or boxing – a well-fitted shoe is a must for preventing injury and making the most of your exercise routine. I’ve been fitted by TAF, and now my new Asics trainers and I are a match made in running shoe heaven.
Have you heard of The Athlete’s Foot #IDIDIT campaign? Are you keen to get involved and inspire others with your fitness success? What exercise goal will you be working towards over the next six or so weeks? Go on, join us!

Great way to get motivated, and also win. I need to get new runners so it looks like a trip to Athlete's foot needs to happen first

A great campaign! I have been so lazy for the past 7 months and haven't done any exercise! I think I will jump back on the treadmill once Spring starts. It is still too cold right now and I can't bring myself to get active.

I don't really think you need to buy expensive running shoes because cheaper one do the exact same job but look different and if you exercise the shoes are only going to get worn so they won't look goof for long
