Beyonce's exercise routine revealed
There’s no question Beyonce works hard for her bod, but now Queen Bey’s revealed exactly what it takes to fashion her fantastic physique.
In a tribute to the fifth anniversary of Michelle Obama's ‘Let's Move’ health initiative, the singer posted an Insta video of her go-to fitness exercises.
Without further ado, here are the 5 steps to a Bey-worthy bod (you’re welcome):
Step 1: Standing Side Crunches
This is why Queen Bey has such an amazing core. Great for toning the obliques, the balancing act also forces you to focus at the start of your workout.
Step 2: Full Body Sit-Up
As if her core wasn’t feeling the burn already, Queen Bey then does full body sit-ups. Plus, she uses a medicine ball to make it even tougher! My advice? If you’ve never tried this one, skip the ball, or use something lighter in weight (I vote for a tennis ball).
Step 3: Dumbell Punches
Now Queen Bey really gets down to business, throwing weighted alternating dumbbell punches like an absolute ninja. You go girl!
Step 4: Bench Hops
Queen Bey then shifts the focus to that booty. Her explosive lateral bench hops are a great workout for the glutes – and it’s a good cardio move. #winning.
Step 5: Forward Lunges
To finish off, the singer does the move that fills many a gym goer with dread: lunges. Yep, apparently those killer thighs don’t tighten themselves.
