Gym Goers

just wondering who goes to the gym, how often, what work outs you do ect…..

    I had a gym membership last year but rarely went because I would wake up and decide I couldn’t be bothered. I now have a PT and I love it because I can’t get out of it last minute (have to give 24hrs notice). I hate it in the morning before I go but afterwards I feel so much better for it.

    I go 4 times a week for about 1-1.5 hours at a time. I like to run for at least 40mins. then sometimes 10-20 mins on the elliptical trainer. I also Like to do light weights (chest press/leg press/shoulder press/rows) either on the machine or with free weights. I do however like to exercise everyday If the opportunity arrises. The more exercise the better! 🙂

    I’ve only been a member for about a month at an E.M.F health club and its kinda like personal training but not quite one on one and everyday they write up a program to follow (its different each day, always with cardio mixed in and different exercises, weights etc) its great 🙂 I’ve been going about 4 times a week

    How much is the membership for EMF??

    For me its $66 a month cos i’m a student which is about the same as normal gyms, slightly more expensive. For non students its $90 a month but that may able be slightly cheaper becaue its just opened up here and they are special “foundation” memberships. I know at the moment though they are doing a 20 day free offer so if you are interested you should check it out. There is a website.

    I normally walk 45 mins each way to get to work.. so i only go to the gym on Sat an Sunday.. I use the gym in my apartment and do a little cardio and some weight training. I also have a zumba video and do that once a week.

    i go 4-5 times a week. 45mins – 1 hour at least, if i have time i’ll go again after work. ( i usually go lunch time). i mix cardio with resistance training, so running up the stairs, then do lunges across the room while holding a medicine ball above your head. Things like that to mix it up. i do a pilates class once a week which is really good too.

    I had a month-long trial membership at a gym a few years ago and I think I went about 3 times..
    I’ve been doing yoga for a few years now and recently started on Bikram Yoga classes, three times a week, which are unlike any other yoga class I’ve attended. The studio is heated to 40 degrees celsius and it’s really intense; i haven’t been able to not stop every five minutes to rest but it does make you very strong and flexible and it’s great for developing focus
    The classes are run more like gym classes than yoga classes; it’s mostly focused on the body rather than a combi of mind/body/spirit

    I buy my own gym equipment because i’m wanting to become a PT. I normally try to exercise every day but if i have a busy week every second day 🙂 I do weight training, cardio and ab strength training I’m always trying something different though
