Vagisil Itch Relief Intimate Wipes Reviews

I have to confess that when I received these, I had the awful thought they might be like the nasty thing restaurant wipes, because they were in a similar kind of foil-paper packaging. Which, incidentally, I feel like is typical Vagisil and sort of dated.

Pleasantly surprised to find that they were thicker than expected. I can't really comment on the efficacy of the anti-itchiness since I used it as a normal wipe, but it was a pretty good level of moisture, which is great on a wipe. Overall a pretty good wipe.

I received this sample in my Beautorium parcel and even though it is meant to be used to relieve itching in our female intimate area, I think it is great as an overall refreshener. It has been years since I suffered from itching so I can't honestly comment on this product's effectiveness to relieve itching "down there".

These wipes are very handy to pack for trips due to their individual, purple sachet packaging. The sachet is small and slim; handy to pack in a purse for travelling.

The wipe itself measures 19cmx 12.5cm and made of a durable, soft, cloth-like woven material which won't disintergrate during use. It is fairly thick so it holds sufficient a sufficient amount of product to give the intimate area a good cleansing and freshening up as well. It has a pleasant, fresh, floral fragrance.

The wipe is easy to use wiping once in a front to back motion. It left my intimate area feeling clean, comfortable and fresh. In fact, the wipe had a cool, soothing effect on my skin which I liked.

For me, this is a great product for freshening up downstairs especially if I'm travelling in a hot and humid climate. They are useful, handy and convenient.

Overall, I like the product and think it a great idea !!!

I got a one-sachet sample of this product with my Beautorium haul and was quite eager to give it a try. When I do travel, I travel very far and long, to the point where it is hard to stay fully fresh and clean, so I am always interested in products that can assist in this process.

I love that these wipes do not have a strong scent, which would be a must for me anyway as the intimate area is so sensitive to imbalances and I don't see any benefit in adding strong scents at the risk of adding more irritants to a product.

I love the individual packaging rather than a bulk pack, it makes it discreet to carry around in your purse or even in your wallet without anyone really knowing or it being able to accidentally fall out - it fits into discreet, small pockets easily.

The wipe itself is refreshing to use because it holds lots of moisture without leaving you with lots of product on your hands after use. My one pet peeve with this type of product, though, is the shape of these wipes. They are basically standard tissue size and shape, like baby wipes, when the area that it is meant for is specifically narrow and sensitive so it would feel cleaner to get two thinner/smaller wipes instead of one big one that you have to fold and turn around in your hand for more than one wipe of use.

I LOVE though that this product is also specifically designed for itchiness - because it is also a great refresher and cleaning backup for when you are not itchy and just need to freshen up... at the same time if you happen to also suffer from itchiness at that time, it ticks both boxes without you having to go out and get something specifically for the itch.

I will definitely be purchasing this product to be able to travel with in the future.

I got my sample in my Beautorium pack so only tried this once. The experience might change over time or with regular use. However, my first reaction was that the wipe was very large and I wasn’t able to really make use of all of it. If you’re doing the long haul flight this convenient wet wipe might be just the thing - it’s wet enough to give a really good clean, but not too wet and relatively gentle for freshening up here and there (certainly better than a standard wet one), but I found I had to wash straight away afterwards as it stung a bit (and I’m not that sensitive) and also left a scent which I don’t really feel I need. I suspect daily use might actually cause, rather than prevent itching. Also there’s a lot of packaging. That said, if showering is difficult then this is a good option for the handbag. The lavender packs are discrete and easy to use without fuss and the scent covers up any odours so again, good for when you can’t shower easily. I liked that they didn’t contain parabens and colours, and contain ingredients like oatmeal and chamomile, and the sting did disappear after a few minutes, though again, I don’t think regular use would be a good idea.

I received a few of these wipes with my Rewards Room order. I've never tried this type of product before, but was keen to give it a go.

The wipes come individually wrapped which is convenient for on the go use. They don't smell strongly fragranced which is a plus.

Using the wipe left me feeling fresh and clean, until I was able to have a shower again. I think this product is great to keep in your handbag just in case.

I have heard a lot about these wipes and was excited to try them... I like the handy sachet packaging they come in... It makes them easy to carry around in a bag or purse, but also makes the discreet... They are also realy easy to open too...

They reminded me as a wet wipe... They have that same feel and smell... I liked that they were simple to use to simply, open and wipe away...

I must admit I'm not a fan of the wet feeling it leaves once you are done.. I did have to re-wipe with paper to dry out a little... (Sorry if that is too much imformation!!!)

It is Ok, but I'm not a fan of these wipes...

I was interested in trying these wipes as although I had heard of the brand I had never heard of, or used this type of product before.
I often suffer from thrush. I also suffer from general irritation caused by certain types of underwear, sweating and/or dryness (how annoying).
Of course, when I have thrush I always use an anti-fungal cream from the chemist but never really thought about trying an alternative for just itchiness.
The wipes come individual packs, similar size to a wipe you might get with your take-away (which I would never recommend for “down there” ). They are about half the size of a baby wipe but thinner. There is no fragrance that I could detect. Which is a good thing as I would think that any perfume could actually cause further irritation to the skin.
The instructions say just wipe from front to back so pretty easy to use.
They have just the right amount of moisture so I didn’t feel wet after use or have to wait for it to dry.
After using I felt clean and fresh, with no irritation, and this feeling seemed to last, I was very surprised by how long.
Whilst in the trial phase I didn’t really have a serious “outbreak” so the only reason I have rated the wipes four stars instead of five was because I’m not able to say how effective they would be if I had bad, ongoing symptoms.

I like many others has no idea there were products like this available so was excited to try it as part of the trial team.
When I received them I was happy to see that they all come individually wrapped making them perfect to pop in your gym bag, hand bag or any where really while still being discreet.
I used them a few times to freshen up after the gym and found them great for that.
I always get a lot of irritation around my period so was excited to see if these would make a difference then. I was actually pleasantly surprised.
‘Intimate’ products really tend to make me itch which makes a horrible time even worse. These wipes, these little moistened pieces of cloth, actually make a huge difference! While it isn’t a long term relief it definitely works to soothe the skin for a couple hours which is better then nothing!
I was a little concerned about the fragrance, while it’s not strong I was worried that it would irritate such a sensitive area but I needn’t have worried, I had no problem.
The packaging itself is convenient and easy to open and perfect for keeping the wipes fresh.
The scent is light and fresh.
And let’s face it, the idea is genius. All round perfect product in my eyes.

Warning, use of the word ‘moist’ was unavoidable in this review.
Loved trialling this product as it seems like a great idea. Though full disclosure I didn’t have any itch at the time of use, so I can’t comment much on how effective they are for that specific concern.
But they’re super convenient, because they’re individually packed sachets, handy to have in your bag. The easy tear packet opened easily and the towel itself is a good size and really soft which impressed me. It’s pre-moistened making it so easy to use, though I did feel the need to dry off after the first use because it felt too moist.
The smell was light and fresh, not overly perfumed which is never a good thing down there as it can irritate the sensitive area.
I used them after the gym a couple of times and after work to freshen up before going out. Loved how travel friendly they are! They’d be great for camping or festivals for sure.
