When men find out what it's like to wear a bra
Men often struggle to understand common girl problems (painful periods, anyone?) and the same used to go for wearing ill-fitting bras – until now.
Signifying a huge win for ladies everywhere, the opposite sex finally understands the backaches, jabbing wires and too-tight straps many of us struggle with daily.
But first, some context: responding to our need to find better-fitting bras, entrepreneurs Laura West and Sophia Berman set out to revolutionise the design we’re accustomed to.
The new design uses a truss to support breasts from the bottom instead. I know, it sounds strange, but it’s actually just good engineering.

After all, if a truss system can be used to hold up things like floors, bridges and roofs, why can’t the same principle apply for holding up breasts?
One of the best things about the new design is how its inventers have shown a need for it – gathering a group of men to try on poorly-fitting bras (filled with watermelons, for extra impact).
Unsurprisingly, the boys agreed it was high time we found a better form of support. You can see their hilarious commentary in the video above.
To find out more about the new-age bra, check out the Trusst Lingerie Kickstarter campaign (which has already exceeded its goal).
We can’t wait to see this one hit the market!
Do you struggle with ill-fitting bras? What other girl problems would you like men to experience first-hand?

I'll give it a whirl when it comes on the market. Along with the engineered shoes. Good to see accepted paradigms being challenged and rethought.

This is so funny. I just threw out a sports bra that had begun to go a bit misshapen. You know how that goes: the cup is a bit wobbly in shape, the hooks don't go quite so easily into the eyes, and one cup gapes while the other one cuts in. It used to be ol' faithful. Damn expensive entrapments.

The last time I was properly fitted for a bra I was put in a cup size clearly too small. I ignored her and found a better fit myself! Also, I hate that you have to try on each bra you buy. The last time I had a comfortable bra and just grabbed another identical off the rack they fit different.

What would I want men to experience? Period pain and pms because that shit is unpleasant. And not only is it horrible and its always around the corner but anytime you are a bit snippy 'oh psm honey?' so that would be interesting. These bras sound interesting they aren't too attractive though

Thankfully, as a small-breasted girl I never had that much trouble with bras :)

As much as I hated my 10A bra size (after 3 kids became a 12A!) as a teen and well into my 20's, I'm so glad not to have had big breasts - both my daughters do and they hate it - so uncomfortable especially when they want to go jogging.

My dream is to buy a bra that feels as comfortable 8 hours after I've put it on as it does in the store. Still looking!

I haven't had a bra fitting since I got my first bra when I was 11, I'm now 43. I would like to have another fitting.

High heels would be interesting as much as I love them and look good in them it can take its toll.

This is the full comment, I accidentally press the submit button. oops.
My tips for buying a buy bra. Tip 1: I always buy my bras from Bras and Things, they are great quality and they have a great warranty on bras. Tip 2: I always look for bras that have soft straps, no side wires on the back of the bra and no fabric or just a little of fabric under the no fabric or just a little of fabric under the c shaped wire. So the fabric does not ride up. Tip 3: Try on before you buy. Tip 4: Buy an bra extender if need.
