Avoid illness with iridology
Did you know? The Iris (that’s the centre of your eye) can reveal amazing truths about every single organ in your body. The study of the iris, otherwise known as Iridology is used to diagnose underlying signs of developing disease.
How it works
Iridology is a safe, non-invasive way of detecting health problems in their earliest stages – from physical health conditions to emotional disorders. The iris is made up of hundreds of thousands of nerve endings thought to be connected by impulses to every tissue of the body. An iridologist uses a special lamp and magnifying glass to carefully examine your eyes and look for any changes or disturbances in the tiny fibres of your iris. A typical assessment usually takes around an hour.
How it can help
Iridology can be used as a constructive tool for allowing you to recognise and understand your body’s weaknesses so that you can protect yourself against illnesses.
Is it proven?
As with most alternative therapies, Iridology has its opponents; many doctors and health practitioners have dismissed it as quackery, while there are also thousands of patients the world over who swear by its benefits. The best way to work out if it’s right for you is to book a one-off session and give it a go.
A one hour consultation should cost around $70 - $80, some Iridologists also offer shorter consultations for a reduced fee.
What happens afterwards…
After the Iridologist has examined your eyes they may provide you with photographs of your iris to highlight any disturbances in your Iris fibres that may denote underlying illness. An Iridologist can then make recommendations for natural, herbal remedies specific to your needs.
