Invisalign® treatment: Before and afters of five beautyheaven members

In the past, you always had to pay the price for perfect teeth. Whether it was feeling self-conscious about a mouth full of metal, missing eating apples or struggling to floss, you had to endure a lengthy period of pain to get the straight smile of your dreams.

Well not anymore! These days, Invisalign treatment can straighten your teeth without cramping your style. In other words, you can still smile confidently, exercise, floss and eat your favourite foods, all without a worry in the world. Plus, Invisalign treatment uses a proprietary clear aligner system, so it’s virtually invisible (if only we’d had that option in high school!).

Five beautyheaven members are getting Invisalign treatment and we are following their journey every step of the way, from the first consultation to the finished smile.

Our members’ journey started with an Invisalign Smile Concierge call before each trialler was booked into their first orthodontist appointment. During this appointment, the orthodontist scanned each members’ mouth with the iTero® scanner that then produced a 3D simulated outcome of what their new smile could look like. Based on these scans, a customised Invisalign treatment plan was created by the orthodontist. So not only did this technology mean a treatment plan could be personalised to a tee, it also meant that members could have a cheeky peek of what their smile could look like after their treatment!

Following their first appointment, each of the triallers got sent their Invisalign clear aligners so they could get started. But what does wearing the clear aligners actually involve? Invisalign clear aligners are made to fit your own teeth snugly, and slowly and gently straighten them. You simply slot the aligners into your life with ease, just making sure to take them out before every meal, brush your teeth after eating and remembering to pop them back in afterwards. The number of aligners and amount of time each of our triallers wore their clear aligners for varied depending on their customised treatment plan.

Invisalign® treatment is a series of clear plastic removable orthodontic aligners that gently move patients’ teeth.
