The $1.60 exfoliating mitt that's straight out of a luxurious Korean spa

The dream of a full body scrub in a Korean day spa is potentially on hold for at least another year.
But just because we can’t take you to Korea, it doesn’t mean we can’t suggest one very popular, textured glove that may just help bring Korea to you. Specifically, the part of Korea that leaves your skin silky smooth and ingrown hairs out of sight.

Most commonly known as Korean Italy Washcloths or Korean Exfoliating Mitts, the glove we’re talking about is made from 100 per cent viscose, and is bright green in colour with black stripes to boot. The glove sits over your hand and is used in the shower to remove dead or dry skin cells, plus eliminate blackheads or congestion (such as back acne) through gentle exfoliation.

Not dissimilar to the benefits of dry body brushing, consistent use can also increase blood circulation and promote lymphatic drainage for a year-round skin glow.
And the best part? Ridding yourself of dry skin, clogged pores and ingrown hairs will cost you less than your bus fare to work. Averaging $6.50 for a pack of four, these reusable mitts are readily available to ship to Australia off Amazon or eBay.
As one of Amazon’s ‘most frequently carted products’ of 2020, his 5-star rated beauty product is certainly worth a shot, especially if you’re a big K-beauty fan.
Check them out here.
Have you ever tried exfoliating with a Korean spa-inspired mitt?

I use one of those mesh/net sponges. I'm okay with that.

I have so many of these but never use them. Hmm. Comes free with most of my purchases from Korean e-commerce sites.

I have uncommonly tough skin due to thyroid disease, so I use something a bit more abrasive. Luckily, I'm not as prone to ingrown hairs since using IPL hair removal.

Yay, love these. I'm not brave enough to sand my skin down like the Koreans do, I just lightly run it over my skin.

Handy if you live in Korea - we don't have a shop around here that sell Korean stuff that I know of. I don't tend to shop on Amazon for anything so not really familiar with it. I know, I'm probably living under a rock - but it's a busy rock!! ; )

I use a shower towel. I always have a few in stock. Makes it easier to do my back.

These sound great. Thanks for sharing the link as when I searched it on ebay, more expensive ones showed up but the link took me to the $6.50 ones. I think I will purchase them.

I think I picked up something very similar from the places we stayed in Japan (they give you lots of interesting things), I'll have to hunt it out.
