Moisturiser for Sensitive Skin Reviews

After recently moving to a humid, tropical climate I began to notice mild irritation with my skin. I have no doubt it's being caused by the never ending sweating (gross right?!) which is just an unfortunate side effect of living in paradise. My sister has lived here a lot longer and brought me a house warming gift of some Billie Goat Soap products. After a couple days the difference in my skin was amazing!!! Not only has the irritation cleared up but my skin is soft and supple again. Billie Goat Soap All Over Body Moisturiser is a miracle creation, in my opinion. Sensitive skin after shaving, gone! Heat rash from constant sweating (yeah I know TMI) gone! Would you believe, even my little fur-baby (tiny jack Russell terrier) who has sensitive skin on her belly has benefited from Billie Goat Soap products!!! Talk about versatile.

I love this Moisturiser it is terriffic! I've never bought a Moisturiser which leaves my skin so beautiful and soft and there is no greasy feeling at all, it is perfect! And it is made of 100% pure ingredients which is wonderful for your skin. I canreccommend this to everyone it is great!

I have been using this for a couple of months after buying it at a Priceline 1/2 price sale. I love it! My skin doesn't break out or go too oily and it' a balanced moisturiser too.

My friend's mum gave this to me because she was using it on her face, and it made her skin go red. I read the ingredients list, which seemed great, so I tried it out for a couple of days.

First of all, it stinks, but the smell fades away after a few minutes. It seems a lot like a basic sorbelene cream, and much the same as some cheap sorbs, it made the skin on my face tingly and red. It was just awful.

I have very sensitive/oily skin. This product seemed to help my acne and also wasn't as harsh as other soaps.

I've seen this brand around and heard a lot of good things about it but never really got around to buying any of their products. I noticed that this product was nominated in this year's awards so I thought I'd give it a go.

This body moisturiser is a white lotion with a good consistency, neither too thick or thin. I found it to be a fantastic moisturiser and it hydrated my skin nicely even though it was quite dry. Although my skin isn't particularly sensitive, it's really dry with the hybrid winter/summer weather we've being having recently and also because I'm lazy with moisturising my body. The really great thing is that it's hydrating and yet still so light, not thick and cloying like some moisturisers for dry skin can be. You do need to use a decent amount if your skin is dry though.

As you'd expect goat's milk is the second main ingredient after water. Goat's milk is great for people with sensitive skin (and pretty much everyone) because it has the same pH as human skin so it won't disrupt our natural pH balance and it contains proteins, amino acids and Vitamin A to nourish skin. It also has lots of other lovely ingredients such as organic aloe vera, sunflower seed oil, olive oil and organic shea butter. Common nasties like parabens, mineral oil, silicones and sulphates are left out.

It definitely has a scent but I'm not sure what exactly it is. Maybe lavender or other essential oils. I'm usually not a fan of this scent as it can become quite overwhelming and I'm sensitive to strong smells. In this moisturiser however it's not too strong so it's bearable.

The moisturiser is housed in a simple white and green tube with a convenient flip top lid and of course a picture of a goat to make it easy to spot. I quite like that on the front there's a list of all the nasties they leave out so people browsing products will see it right away and realise what a great alternative this is to the usual body creams and lotions in Priceline or department stores.

Billie Goat Soap is a great brand to invest in as not only are they cruelty free (so they don't test on animals) but they're also Australian made as well. I was quite impressed with this product and my only real gripe, apart from the scent, is that it's not really an affordable everyday moisturiser and so I might just buy this when it's on sale. I do still recommend it especially if you have sensitive skin as it's a lovely moisturiser that gets the job done and keeps your skin healthy.

This is a superb light-textured moisturiser suitable for people with sensitive skin. Some natural body lotions that I have tried soak into my skin quickly but leave my skin dry again. Although Billie Goat Soap's Moisturiser soaks in quickly, my skin is left feeling soft and hydrated for a while, yet without a greasy residue. This moisturiser was invaluable recently when I had an intensely itchy rash on my arms. I was able to use the moisturiser all over the rash without causing any further aggravation.

I always check a product's ingredients list to see how high up the list any active ingredients are, and the goat's milk in this product is second on the list, with aloe being third (another skin soothing ingredient). This moisturiser doesn't contain any propylene glycol, silicone or petrochemical by-products.

I bought this product in a squeeze tube which makes it suitable for travel or carrying in a handbag. The tube makes it very easy to dispense the product, and the snap-on lid keeps the product secure.

Great moisturiser for those with sensitive skin or skin issues.

I find it is absorbed quickly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling which I hate with a passion, generally I apply moisturiser after a shower so there is nothing worse than applying something that leaves your skin feeling tacky or greasy. Squeeze tube applicator makes for easy application.

Organic ingredients means it is less likely to cause any issues to flare up and can be very soothing.

I feel that it smells a tiny bit like lavender, which I don't usually like but it's so minimal with this product that it's doesn't make me dislike the product at all.

I love that this product is Australian Made! Will always have a tube to use at home!

Great nourishing moisturiser that doesnt irritate the skin. Feels lovely and creamy on my skin but doesnt leave any greasy residue. Helps to reduce the redness i tend to get on my legs after shaving but doesnt sting. Very happy.
